Review for tarte Tarteist Pro Amazonian Clay Palette - 2 weeks, 5 days ago
The palette is amazing quality. Every shade is buttery and blends so well. Tarte is easily my favorite brand. The only downside for me is that many of these shades are medium-dark. I can only really make smoky eyes with this palette since I'm quite pale. But the amazing quality makes smoky eyes much easier and less daunting. Highly recommend.

This is a great palette. It's like a combination of ABH Modern Renaissance warms on the top and UD Naked 3 cools on the bottom row. The pigmentation is good granted you use a base or primer. They're fairly easy to blend if you have good brushes but can look like the same shade if you blend too much. Definitely the palette to buy if you're just exploring warm shades before spending more money on higher quality brands.

Review for: Provocouture
This is a beautiful taupe palette with a pop of fuchsia! This is the only luxury palette I've ever purchased and the quality difference is noticeable. The powders are so soft and creamy. No fallout. And they blend so softly. I could barely feel it on my skin. This shade is a natural taupe palette that works great for every day wear. Use the dark purple or fuchsia shade for a pop of color. Highly recommend and this will definitely be a favorite of mine!

Review for Differin® Gel Acne Treatment 0.5 oz. Box - 2 months, 3 weeks ago
always some blemish and I use phones at work a lot so foundation and concealer easily rub off. My only option was to treat the source and not cover the damage. Other treatments did not work for me so I turned to this once it became OTC. So far, it has begun fading acne and helping current breakouts heal faster. I have not experienced dry skin. I apply a gel moisturizer once Differin has dried and this has helped stop irritation. I'm only several days in but have not gotten any major breakouts. I will update with any further info!

Update: As predicted, I got very dry skin around 2-4 weeks. I used Pond's Dry Skin cream to combat the sensitivity and it really helped. Now, I'm using Differin nightly and mixing it with my moisturizer. This makes it easier to apply and helps keep my skin moisturized. I'm at about 6-7 weeks now and I still have some dryness but nothing I can't manage. Gentle moisturizers are a must for most nights and I only use St Ive's Even & Bright scrub once a week. The best daily moisturizer for me is Garnier's Skin Active gel or Clean & Clear Morning Burst gel on top of vitamin c serum. I'm looking forward to more results within in the next several weeks.
Update: I ended up discontinuing usage since the improvement plateaued around 2 months. I still have far too much jawline acne. I'm now using Retin-A since my insurance company now covers the generic. I've had better results with higher strength tretinoin. However, this is a good option for mild to moderate acne since it's OTC and reasonably priced.

I have a newer alcohol free version of this that I really liked using to clean my brushes. However, I never thoroughly read the ingredients list and I didn't figure I'd come across an allergen. This newer formula uses BARLEY. It's hardly used in cosmetics and is one of three plants that contain GLUTEN. You likely won't have an issue unless you have Celiac Disease (which I do). It cannot pass through the skin but I do use makeup brushes on my face and it could come into contact with the mouth and be ingested. I've still been using it since it works well but I will not repurchase since it could potentially make me sick.

The items are obviously expensive but they have luxury beauty that's sometimes discounted. Shipping is always free and it's quick. I don't like the layout of the site though. I can be hard to find specific types of products since there are limited amounts of filters. But the design itself is sleek and sophisticated just like the brand.
Review for TurboTax - 2 months, 3 weeks ago
I filed for taxes the first time this year and it made the process incredibly easy. I knew exactly what information I needed to provide and the purpose of it. The format is easy to understand and demystifies the paper tax forms.
Review for Skindinavia The Makeup Finishing Spray - 2 months, 3 weeks ago
I have this in the oil control version. It doesn't completely stop the oil but helps combat it. It was a natural finish and works really well to make powder look like skin. I get several hours of wear and it helps overall but isn't a miracle since my skin is very oily and will likely be forever.

I bought the 8oz size on Amazon for only $20 so watch out for deals!!

Review for The Body Shop Fresh Nude Foundation - 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I have oily skin so this wasn't the best match for me. I like that the ingredients are gentle and natural. No irritation whatsoever. However, I have oily skin and this formula is more emollient. I had a very hard time preventing it from slipping around and powdering lead to cake face. I haven't completely given up but haven't had the time to experiment with primers or setting sprays with this foundation.

Review for KIKO MILANO - 4 months, 2 weeks ago
I'm so impressed with this brand. I came across it while reading a Buzzfeed article calling it the NYX of Europe. I don't think that's true because so far Kiko is BETTER! So far I've tried only their eyeshadows and the quality is amazing. They're butter and so amazing to use. I can't quite put my finger on which brand they remind me of but the formula thick, soft, and almost hydrating feeling. Not dry or powdery or particularly finely milled like other brands. The full price products are a little expensive. However, they frequently rotate deals and it's best to sign up for emails to get sale alerts. Since shipping is free at $15, you can stock up on sale items basically whenever you want. No need to create a full, expensive order. I do wish the prices were always lower like NYX but for $15 free shipping, you really can't complain!
