I would give this more stars if I could. Amra and Anastasia have really outdone themselves with the quality and texture of this highlighter! Some of the major benefits include no fallout, a fairly universal color, the ability to intensify it to your liking, and of course, the glow being naturally sunkissed and not exaggerating the skin texture one bit. I’m absolutely obsessed with the way this glides on and allows for a lot of room to work with it! I use it on my browbone, inner corner, cheeks, and a bit on the forehead to make myself look dewy and radiant!
I really like this toothpaste because it leaves my mouth feeling minty fresh and clean. I like how sparkly my teeth look after using it and I really like how cheap it is so I'll probably be buying it again.
One of my favorite lip glosses! The stickiness of it is minimal and for the price, I'm amazed. The lip glosses are full coverage and super cheap! I think that $16 is the perfect price for these lip glosses! Totally recommend!
I do not think that Subculture deserves as much hate as it's getting right now. I tested the talc consistency to the Mica in MR and there was virtually no difference. Besides that, the color scheme is very innovative and perfect for fall! I love how on trend the colors are with Instagram Grunge and how it's not entirely warm or entirely cool. The duo-chrome shadows are the only drawback in my eyes. Cube isn't that fun to work with especially. Overall though, I think it's so worth it and fun to play with, especially if you're artistically curious.
I'm so happy I was chosen to receive this foundation free for review from Influenster! I love looking at Milk Makeup and now actually trying some is a dream come true. I think the foundation is lovely! It provides a lightweight. matte (but healthy) veil with pore minimizing power! It too little to no effort to blend into the skin (actually it was the easiest part of my makeup routine) and I only used two drops! The one drawback is it claims to be full coverage, which is partially true, but because it's so thin it can't be as full as you'd expect. I'd call it a medium or lightly full coverage that you can certainly build up to full! (Also, it smells amazing!) I'll be sure to recommend this!
I just received this product free as part of the Influenster x Milk Makeup Voxbox campaign. I have to say, I'm not a big fan of silicone sponges for blending. For $14, I expected this to do almost as much as my Beauty Blender but without absorbing product. While it didn't take any product away, I think I'll stick to a sponge or brush. The makeup is only moved around and not dabbed or pressed into the skin with this, which causes streaking of the foundation. It's great to get a base going but not much more. I think that because it's sparkly though, it'll be a cute showpiece at least. All silicone sponges are going to do the relatively same thing, unfortunately.
I find these highlighters quite overhyped by beauty gurus and it's kind of unfortunate. I bought mine earlier this year before the reviews started flooding so they're also not new, they just came out in October which is a bit older than people are saying. The highlighter is super pretty in the package, but for $35 I expected much more than I just a weird texture. While it was fun to poke and play with, at the end of the day it's a highlighter and I want it to perform like one. This highlighter is apparently unique in that it can be applied by finger, sponge, or brush. I really don't love finger applications so I moved on to try brush and sponge. Using a dense brush to give it the Benedict of the doubt and a Beauty Blender, I found that they had far less pigment than a finger swatch led me to believe. That being said, it was lackluster shimmer at best. My boyfriend and I played around with the putty for a while, trying to get it to perform correctly, but unfortunately, the best that it is is entertaining. That's the only reason I gave it two stars - it occupied an easily distracted yet terribly bored boyfriend.
WORST liquid lipstick I've ever used! So here's the thing, Huda is more of a "cult favorite" brand and with that being said, you'll either love or hate her products. Unfortunately, I'm certainly against the purchase of another one of her liquid lipsticks. For $20, I received a ridiculously streaky lipstick that smells nauseatingly identical to Pinnacle Whipped Vodka that never dries down. I spent 45 minutes with the lipstick on and when it "dried" I was left with a horrible tacky texture equivalent to gluing my lips shut. I didn't keep it on much longer because I knew then and there it was getting returned immediately. I'd have given no stars but that's not an option for writing a review. I highly suggest avoiding them and keep away from the aesthetically pleasing packaging.
I really like this brow pencil much more than the Brow Kit from Elf! It gives a more natural definition to the eyebrows and you don't use a lot of product compared to the pomade base gel. I thought at first that .006oz was going to be a waste of my money but with how little I use it turns out fantastic! Great for defining brows and giving fuller coverage to more bald areas without the waxy look! Sleek and convenient with the spoolie! I will buy it again.
