I'm a beauty junkie! I'm always watching Youtube Tutorials, and buying new cosmetics all the time! I have been into beauty since I was 13-14 years old!
A good way to my heart is....FOOD!! Food is life! I'm considering starting a food blog one day! :)
I love wine!! The sweeter the better! I'm more of a red wine gal over white wine. I love a good chat and/or relax with a glass of wine near! :)
I had an older version of this blender for about 8-9 years until it broke a couple of months ago. I have it replaced of course with the newer version pictured here and it's great! As you can tell, Oster is a very sturdy brand of blenders. I use mine regularly for smoothies, sauces, homemade salad dressings, crush ice for drinks, etc. It works very well. It has different settings to use for different uses. It's big enough to blend to your heart's content, but, compact enough to fit the container/lid in my cabinet. So, storage is never an issue. I definitely would recommend this blender!
I received the Clairol Professional iThrive Splint End Repair cream free to try and review. It came in the Dazzle Voxbox. This product is very watery and didn't really seem to do anything for my hair. My ends looked the same. It does have a nice smell. I personally would not spend money on this.
Review for: Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Lotion 5.5 oz more...
I received the Gold Bond Ultimate Radiance Renewal Lotion as a complimentary product part of my Dazzle Voxbox to try and review.
I love Gold Bond lotion because it really has always been good about treating dryness and preventing your skin from future intense dryness. The Ultimate Radiance Renewal lotions did not at all disappoint!
I love the thick, creamy texture. A nice small glob really goes a long way. I can see this tube lasting for 5-6 months and that's with daily usage!
It has a nice soothing scent from the Shea butter, but, it's not overpowering. I can smell it still long after application. The lotion is non greasy, which it makes perfect for use in the Spring and Summer time.
I definitely would buy this product! I have been saving the coupons I have been getting in the mail so I stock up on this product. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to try this lotion Gold Bond!

I absolutely love this color! It's a nice deep purple with some sheen! There's no chemical smell. The color lasts throughout the day. I don't feel that this stick does much moisturizing. I think it may have been drying out my lips. After a few uses, I started to apply a lip balm on my lips before applying this stick and I had a lot better results with keeping in the moisture. I think this may be the drug store dupe of the Clinique Chubby Sticks, except it doesn't moisturize as well. Despite that fact, I definitely would buy this stick again!
I have never owned any products from Morphe. I was in Ulta Beauty looking for a new eyeshadow palette to add to my mini collection at home. I saw the Morphe display with the different palettes on display that I can view and also test! I fell in love with the 25B Bronzed Mocha eyeshadow palette! I loved it had the right mix of shimmer and matte shades and cheaper than the other palettes ($18). I figure if I'm going to try out a Morphe palette, might as well start off small. LOL. The shades I would say are more on the neutral side, but, also a few warm shades to add a little color to any look. There's a total of 25 shades.
I can honestly say that I love this palette! I've played with so many looks since I bought this Thanksgiving weekend! The colors blend pretty well (with eyeshadow primer applied first) and have pretty impressive payoff. I don't have any complaints about performance! It is easily removed with micellar water and a cotton pad. I'm interested to try more palettes from Morphe!
As much as I love this palette, there are some things that can use some improvement. First, it would be nice if there was a mirror inside the lid (i.e Urban Decay's Naked). Second, it would be nice if the names of the colors are included on the palette itself. The shades' names are written on the plastic protective cover that comes with the palette that usually gets thrown away. Lastly, the case could be more sturdy. It is too flimsy/cheaply made for my liking. I just keep the palette stored in it's packing for protection when I store it after use.
Overall, I would recommend this palette to any beauty obsessed person!
I received this gel for free from Influenster to test and review.
I thought this Garnier Style Curl Scrunch Gel l worked pretty well for my hair. It provided a nice hold, without flakes. It also gave some definition. This gel never dried out my hair.
A major knock to this product is the strong smell of alcohol. It was too much, even after the product dries. I currently use products that provide just as good of a hold without alcohol. I can do without it.
I received this product for free from Influenster to test and review. Now that has been established, let's get on to the review. :)
I can't recall the last time I have used anything by Garnier. I think it might have been a hair straightening cream about 10 years ago or so. I don't view Garnier as a brand that makes products for natural hair types such as myself.
Regardless of the above, I decided to keep an open mind. I can honestly say that I love this product! It has a light scent that I enjoy. It does not at all weigh my hair down, no matter how much I spritz onto my curls (I use quit a bit! My curls are mighty thirsty! LOL). It provides definition and truly moisturizes my hair.
This product has only 2 flaws. First, it could have a lot less chemicals and a lot more natural ingredients. That is a major drawback and I would not buy this until this changes. I've came too far in my natural hair journey to dump a bunch of unhealthy ingredients in my hair and worry about unnecessary damage. Second, the bottle could be a lot bigger. I'm not sure if this is meant for travel or if it's just a tester size, but, I would not buy a spray in this size. It could at least be 28-30 ounces to make it worth my money. Remember, I have very thirsty curls! I use too much product. I'm surprised this product has lasted barely a month. I am using this spray 3-4 times a week, minimum.
Overall, I would recommend this product to others. It does what it is supposed to do. Due to the two major flaws, I would not buy this product until changes are made to my satisfaction.
Oh, no, baby...what is you doing? LOL. I had to get that out real quick! First things first: I received the Pantene Pro V Gold Series Hydrating Butter Creme as a complimentary item to test and review as part of the Gold Series Voxbox.
I used the shampoo, conditioner, and this creme that came part of the Pantene Pro V Gold Series Voxbox. No other brand products were used to avoid any affect of the performance of this creme.
My first issue: smell. This creme smells NOTHING like the shampoo and conditioner from this line. This had an unpleasant, chemical smell to it.
My second issue: consistency. The consistency of this creme was not of a creme I'm used to from any natural hair line. This didn't feel like a creme (or a cream, whatever the difference may be). It had the consistency of a body lotion. It felt like I was running body lotion in my hair. Not very thick.
My third issue: it does not absorb. At all. It sat on my hair and made it feel greasy. It never penetrated my strands. My hair looked dry, and I had a lot of dry, fly aways at my hair line after using this product. I'm going to have to use some Cantu or Eden Bodyworks over this creme...it did absolutely nothing for my hair!
I really didn't want to give this a bad review. I love the shampoo and the conditioner from the Gold Series. This creme didn't add up and drags the whole line down. I can only hope this line has a leave in conditioner that can be used after conditioner and before this creme. Pantene should scrap this, and go back to the lab and START OVER!!! I'm definitely not spending money on this!
I received this product as part of the Pantene Pro V Gold Series Voxbox to test for free and provide my feedback. The last time I used any Pantene product Iwas the Relaxed & Natural (the dark brown labeled line) and I thought it was a mess. I was open to trying a new line specifically formulated for natural hair.
I absolutely love the smell! It's a nice light scent, but, doesn't smell like chemical nor over powering. I didn't have to use too much product for it to do it's job. It recommended a "quarter size" amount to apply to hair. I had to use more than that. Well...because my hair soaks up conditioner, so, a quarter size of any product barely coats my ends alone. I love how this product made my hair pliable to be able to detangle and work out any tangles.
Only con I have to bring up, as with the shampoo from this line, is the amount of chemicals in this product! I'm surprised! 10 years of study led to this poor selection of ingredients? That is the only thing that would make me weary of spending money on this. Other than that, great product!
