I am in search of the Holy Grail makeup and skin care for the mature. When I turned 50, everything changed. My go-to products seemed to up and abondanded me! I believe beauty is ageless. It is about the right products, tools, and application . At 55 it's all about firm, lift, reduce lines, hydrate, and glow! I am on my quest to find products that do just that!
The L'Oreal facial products always look so promising! My issue, and the reason for only three stars is the heavy scent. I used it for several days and did see a difference. However, the scent is a barrier to regular use. I will not be repurchasing this one.
This Mario Badescu Hylaronic Acid eye cream is fantastic! It just melts into my skin. A small amount goes a long way and has zero greasy feel to it. The skin around my eyes definitely looks more hydrated. I purchased it Ulta and plan on repurchasing.
The L'Oreal mask is readily avalaible and great price point. After several uses my skin felt softer, more hydrated, and slightly smaller pores. I am going to try the other three formulas before I repurchase this one.
This Pet smart toy is my dog's favorite toy EVER! I am purchased at least a dozen over the years. I have it only three stars because the ears easily chew off and the seams split exposing the fiber filling. He is a little 10 pound Pekingese.
Garnier Fructis shampoo and conditioners are my go-to grocery store hair care products. Reasonably priced and readily available. I have tried four different formulas and they all produce the results they claim to. A rarity in my opinion.
I have to say, Colgate Total toothpaste is my main squeeze. I see other toothpastes advertised and try them. But I always go back to Colgate. Nothing cleans and whites my teeth better. It is also very gentle. I buy mine at my local Kroger's.
I can not say enough about Violette Voss Ride or Die palette. The perfect color palette to create any look that you desire. They are pigmented, buttery smooth, and blend flawlessly. I purchased mine on line.
You can never go wrong with Morphe brushes. I own not than I care to admit. I also believe your tools are your best asset. They have excellent construction, zero shedding, soft when they need to be, and stiff also. They are so reasonably priced. Perfect for beginners and those with advanced skills. I have purchased mine on line.
For me the ColourPop matte lipsticks are a fail. The color is patchy and they are so drying no matter how much lip prep I do. I have them 2 stars because I do believe in supporting indie companies in the makeup industry.
