I'm slowly transitioning to all natural products and I knew when it was time to switch mascaras that I would try Burt's Bees. I've used Physician's Formula before and felt very "meh" about them. They never worked as well as regular mascaras, so I always thought that natural mascaras just didn't work as well.
Burt's Bees proved me wrong. This stuff lengthens, volumizes, and makes my lashes look amazing! The best part is knowing that I'm not putting any chemicals near my eyes. It's super easy to apply (usually one or two swipes is enough for me) and it lasts all day long. I've never noticed any smudging. I've also rarely had clumps, which almost never happens with other mascaras.
I love this shampoo! I've searched for a good sulfate free shampoo for over a year now and nothing worked for me. I needed something to help my dry scalp, but this is the first shampoo that's actually made a difference. It lathers well, smells amazing, and makes my hair super soft! It's also helped define my curls.
I love knowing that it's all natural and the price is great, too.
I've been looking for a sulfate free shampoo for a long time and I liked other Matrix Biolage shampoos, so I had high hopes for this. When I used it the first time, my hair was very frizzy and looked frazzled all over. I figured maybe it needed time to get used to the product, so I used it for about a week and a half, but my hair never got any better. I needed to lather, rinse, repeat to actually feel like I was doing anything, but it felt like no matter how much or little I used of this, it wouldn't lather or even do anything. I know sulfate free shampoos don't lather the way typical shampoos do, but this was even worse than others.
After the week and a half, I returned it. It's definitely not worth the money. I found a much better shampoo for 1/3 of the price!
This is an ok eyeliner, but the tip isn’t sturdy enough for me. It seemed very cheap and the end dried out quickly. The color is good, but took a few swipes to get it on. It’s pretty liquid-y which can be hard to manage if you’re not used to liquid liner.
Review for: Pure Vanilla, Vanilla Grapefruit more...
I found this because a blog I follow recommended it. I had been looking for a natural deodorant for a long time, but never found something that worked for me.
Like others have said here, if you're looking to switch to natural deodorants, you'll need to detox first. I detoxed with a different deodorant (it was awful), so I was ready to use this. For the first few applications, it's hard to apply. It's big enough that you only need a few swipes and it will get easier to apply the longer you use it. There are different scents, but the two I've tried are great. I do find that Vanilla Grapefruit works better at masking the smell when I sweat compared to Pure Vanilla.
The only downside to this is that once it's applied, it's powdery, so you have to be careful when putting on clothing afterwards. I've ended up with streaks on black shirts, but they're easy to get off.
This makes my waves and curls very manageable and they look amazing. My hair is soft and shiny after using this. I love that it's sulfate free, but it does have a weird scent. If you're sensitive to that sort of thing, you might not like this, but I don't think the scent stays on your hair once it's dry.
I love this stuff! It's a great color and stays all day without looking harsh. It does take a couple dabs of a brush to get enough to show up on my cheeks, but that's not an issue. I've used this every day for months now and haven't made a dent in it. I got it for free, but I'll definitely buy this when I eventually run out!
I wish I could give this zero stars. Seriously this stuff is awful. My lips have never been so dry, cracked, and chapped as when I was using this. I thought it was just the winter weather that made my lips so chapped, so I applied more eos. And then more and more and more until I realized it was only making it worse. A day after I stopped using this and went back to Burt’s Bees, my lips were a million times better. I will never use this garbage again.
Everyone knows about how amazing Burt’s Bees is, right? Do I even need to leave a review telling you how great this stuff is for chapped lips, how good it smells, how hydrating it feels, or how affordable it is? No? Good because everyone knows this by now.
