Our dog thankfully does not suffer from chronic bad breath but there are times where her meal leaves an undesired let say smell with her. Salmon is one of those add ins that I know is good for her but that fishy breath is something I could do without even if it just lingers for a couple hours. I feel bad brushing her teeth right after a meal because who likes that? Kind of ruins the meal in my opinion, so when Greenies came up with Breath Buster treats, this is the perfect solution for us. The idea is not to mask a problem but think of it as a mint for dogs. A breath freshener! My dog also seems to enjoy the taste and texture, plus it works immediately. The treats come in different flavors like crisp apple, chicken and original. Each treat not only delivers breath busting ingredients but you also get a nice dose of vitamins and minerals, with just 15 calories per treat. Dog loves it and the owners appreciate it!
I buy these for my 2 border collies. They definitely help to clean their teeth, but they can be a little upsetting to their tummy so I split one dental treat in half. My dogs seem to enjoy the flavor and do not choke on chewing the treat too quickly.
One of my border collies prefer the Virbac, and the other prefers this one because his teeth are smaller.
This product worked wonders last summer here in the heart of rural Ohio, with a river nearby. We used vet-prescribed Interceptor heartworm prevention as well because our mosquito population is astronomical. This April, I had only 2 Interceptors left but 3 dogs needing it. I gave the Interceptor to the 2 with the shortest hair in hopes that things would be okay until our annual vet visit in May. The 2 dogs given Interceptor along with the K9 Advantix II checked out fine, the one without the Interceptor and ONLY K9 Andvantix II for a month ended up with heart-worm. It could have been a coincidence and I wouldn't have even considered a review except for the fact that all 3 dogs are also suffering from fleas. Fleas, and mosquitoes, are not repelled by this product at all this year FOR US. I still have 2 month's worth of this product left and will use it on our elderly dog who goes out for brief periods of time but, at least this year, we will have to try another product for our younger more active dogs because this is just not effective at all. Fleas have been a major issue in our area so it could be an environmental issue which is why I gave this 3 stars. It HAS worked for us in the past, but it did not effectively repel/prevent fleas or, for one dog, mosquitoes this year.
I have tried oral supplements, (causes liver damage over prolonged use), collars (get jumbled with every day collar and leash. It also has a strong odor thereby inhibiting kisses, hugs and scratches around the neck), sprays (loses its strength when the spray dries)and powders (makes allergies worse), but this is the best. It does have a downside, as it is somewhat oily, but only for 1-3 days. It is absorbed completely into the skin and into the blood stream, so it doesn't lose it's ability to fight off bites during the month or after bathing or playing in water. (Just wait 1-3 days after applying for baths or playing in water). Also, DO NOT take your pet to the dog park after immediate aplication, as dogs tussle and rough house by nipping each other's necks. Wait for 1-2 days or until coat is no longer oily. This can truly make your dog sick.
If the directions are followed precisely, then this IS the best flea and tick product. Directions state to make sure the treatment is placed between the shoulder blades BELOW the neck, so it cannot be licked off. (DO)!
These were the worst nip/nail tools I have ever used. First, the cuticle tool was too bulky to push the cuticles back. Second the clipper broke. Ridiculous. The lever that springs the device open and closed is cheap. I've tried it twice and it broke both times.
This is the first pair of cuticle cutters that I have purchased. 2 main problems: the handles are slippery and the little metal piece that goes between the handles and is supposed to provide spring action is loose and pops out regularly, making it frustrating to work with these.
I've owned countless cuticle nippers over the years and have been doing my own Mani/Pedis forever. These nippers are worthless and will be returned. They worked great the first five minutes I used them, then something happened to the spring mechanism in the middle and they wouldn't bounce back after I squeezed them. Made them impossible to use, so I ended up using an old pair of nippers to finish my manicure.
These are a good value, with sharp strong cutting blades. The best part is the toenail clipper is straight, and not curved like many out there. I needed to have my toenails cut straight across to prevent ingrown toenails and this did the trick
Works and smells like a nail polish remover. Only had to use one cotton pad for all my nails (OPI nail polish) although I did chip and peel off most of the polish before using it. Not overly drying, not particularly hydrating, not particularly strengthening. Just an okay nail polish remover, nothing to rave about but a good budget-friendly option.
