Review for Garmin Forerunner Fitness Assessment Monitor - Teal/White - 1 month, 3 weeks ago
Review for: Garmin Forerunner Fitness Assessment Monitor - Teal/White
I bought the watch and heart rate monitor bundle of Amazon 9 months ago after my coworker recommended it and I love it! I have the green/black one but its the same model. I wear it everyday as a watch for work (with step counter turned off otherwise it drains battery) and also use it for running, hiking and lifting weights. I wear the heart rate monitor during weight lifting sessions and sprinting intervals to make sure I'm working hard enough. The gps or indoor activity tracker is on 5-14 hours a week and I currently have to charge every 2.5 weeks. I love plugging the watch into Garmin Connect to see more broken down info, like elevation changes during hikes. I work a mostly outdoors job and have abused this watch, but it still looks and works like brand new. As other reviews stated, it takes a few minutes to connect to gps but it's not bad. Maybe 2 minute tops is what I've waited before. Highly recommend!
Review for: MRM Veggie Elite Performance Protein - Chocolate Mocha
Best vegan protein I've ever tried. Great protein to carb ratio and 0g sugar. It's a very fine, silty powder so it's immediately different to whey. I've never just mixed it with water, but it's amazing in overnight oats and in smoothies (with frozen bananas and cashew milk!) Not gritty like most vegan powders I've tried. I use it to support a plant-based athletic lifestyle, but my husband now uses it because it's easier on his stomach than whey was. I buy it off Amazon and it's pretty much the same price as most whey powders.
Review for Garmin Heart Rate Monitor - 1 month, 4 weeks ago
I wear this roughly 5x a week for weight training and 3-4x a week for running. It fits great, goes on easy, connects fast to the watch and is super accurate when positioned correctly. I've noticed it doesn't work well with a few of my sports bras but it does great with most. No chaffing and I don't even notice I'm wearing it.
Review for: Pimples Serum Concentrate (Black Cumin + Cajeput) 5ml by Odacite
First off, I love that this company uses high quality ingredients that are free of parabens, dyes and perfumes. They also don't test on animals. I used this serum as a spot treatment (a little goes a long way) recently on a very red pimple that was newly popping up. The next morning, all redness was gone and the bump hadn't gotten any bigger. I used it again the next night and I truly think it stopped the pimple in it's tracks. I have yet to mix it with my moisturizer and use all over, but it is winter and I don't have very oily skin right now. I'll have to save some to try out during the summer. Although it banished the blemish, I think it was very gentle and didn't have any harsh smells. It's too early to say if it's a miracle worker, but it's 1/1 so far! I'm excited to try their other products, but some do have a warning to not use with Retin-A so that may put a damper on my current routine.

Review for Sephora - 6 months ago
Review for: Sephora
Any beauty product your heart desires can always be found at Sephora. Well stocked, located everywhere, easy to navigate through. I like coming here when I need advice or thoughts on new products to try. I worked at a similar beauty store when I was in college, and you're basically forced to be a beauty guru. So I trust these girls for information!
Review for: PHYTO Phytokeratine Ultra Repairing Mask, 6.2 oz
Not the best mask out there. I don't believe it really did anything special to my hair and I doubt it repaired much of anything. Although, it does have keratin in it so you have to be aware that it may make your hair feel more rough rather than soft, at least for an immediate result. I thought the smell was really salon-like, so complaints there. A little goes a long way, especially if you have thin hair like me. Overall, it's not awful but it may better be suited to those with thick hair.

Review for Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Eye - 6 months ago
Review for: Kiehls Midnight Recovery Eye, 15ml
It does work! After a few days of using it, any and all darkness vanished. I don't think it is super moisturizing, but it does it's job otherwise. It's a very thick formula and a little goes a long way. Seems gentle on the skin, no intense smell. I am looking forward to trying other products from this brand!

Review for: Skullcandy - Hesh 2 Unleashed Wireless Bluetooth Over-the-ear Headphones
AMAZING QUALITY! By far the best headphones I have ever bought, even surpassing the Beats. Very fast connectivity and great sound quality. Apparently the sound is even better when wired but I've never tried. I wear mine to the gym and while jogging. My ears are very small and a bit tender so most earbuds really irritate me and/or fall out every 3 seconds. These actually fit all the way over my ears and stay put. Battery life is super long. I use them about 12 hours a week and still only need to charge every 10 days or so. I got mine at Walmart and they priced matched another place so I actually got mine for $70. Well worth it!
Review for LARABAR Energy Bar - 7 months ago
Review for: LARABAR Energy Bar
I love Larabars! My favorites are the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and the Brownie one. I used to hate these bars because I first tried the Cherry Pie and it was horribly sweet, and I'm normally a fan of sweet! But I finally ventured out and tried other flavors because they were on sale for .79 cents at my local grocery. And they keep having sales where they'll be under a dollar if you buy 5 or more (or something along those lines). I really enjoy that they have minimal ingredients and no added sugar. They're a great little treat.

Review for: Creatine Powder 600 g
LOVE this unflavored creatine! I actually bought the 1200g one and it has lasted forever, even with two people using it. I take one teaspoon daily, my husband takes two. I got it from Bodybuilding.com for $29 and that's the best value I've seen. The 600g one is around $14 on BB.com. And unflavored MEANS unflavored with this brand. Perfect for mixing with your other supps, or I just take it to the face with some water because I don't need to supp with shakes anymore. I definitely feel a difference since adding in creatine about 6 months ago. Recovery time is better and I do think it's helped with muscle hypertrophy. I personally don't think it's grainy, but my husband does so I guess it's a matter of preference. It's unflavored anyway so there's no need to sip and savor. Just swig it down really fast and you'll never notice any texture if there is any for you.
