I love the smell of this lotion - the smell is reminiscent of a tropical vacation where I am drinking pina colada's on a beach. It seems to moisturize well but not as good as other brands such as Aveeno. I don't have sensitive skin so I am unsure if this brand is for sensitive skin.
Wow, I was extremely excited to receive Laura Mercier products since I've been in love with the translucent setting powder since I started wearing makeup!
Skin type: Southeast Asian olive/tan that gets oily in the summertime and dry in the winter. Right now, my skin has been more dry than oily.
Skin problems: Hyperpigmentation, ice-pick scars from moderate-severe acne, discoloration
My usual go-to foundation: Estee Lauder in Rattan
My review of this foundation: It looks so natural and the coverage is superb. I would say the coverage is medium/moderate to heavy if you want it to be. I did see that there is noticeable build up on my dry areas but not noticeable in my normal areas. I love this foundation because it evens out my skin tones without hiding all my imperfections. My hyperpigmentation is still visible but that's what I want because I'm going for the natural look. I've been loyal to Estee Lauder's foundation for about 5 years now and love their coverage (which is heavy). However, I've noticed that as I age, I've wanted something more natural and Laura Mercier fits the profile perfectly. I adore this foundation and will probably switch my daytime to this one.
I thought these were okay. They were a little too thin and I thought the original Oreos are better. Perhaps they shouldn't keep the name Oreos, but change it to a different name. When I think of Oreos it conjures up images of creamy fluffy goodness. These definitely didn't have enough cream inside.
This smells absolutely heavenly - like a mixture of coconut and bubblegum if you're into that type of smell. I left the conditioner in my hair for about 5 minutes. I've used it for the past week and haven't noticed a massive improvement. It is however keeping my hair soft and tangle free. 4 stars not 5 because it's not really a "holy-grail" conditioner for me.
