Before I start this review, I'd like to point out that I'm using the Self Preserving version of this mask. This is my favorite face mask of all time! I have normal to dry skin, and I generally don't like detoxifying masks because they make my skin feel stripped. But the large amount of honey in this counteracts that and leaves my skin feeling very hydrated and smooth. But at the same time, this really draws all the impurities out of my skin and helps improve my texture issues. It gives quick, long lasting results, and it really is the perfect face mask for me.
This is an amazing body wash! It feels very hydrating and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft, almost like a light layer of moisturizer might. Although it's very fragrant, the scent isn't overpowering. The formula is great and doesn't irritate sensitive skin at all, and is great as a gift or a treat for yourself.
This cleanser is good, but nothing special, and not my favorite. I've only tried a few other makeup removing cleansers before, but I can tell that this is a pretty good one. I generally like to double cleanse my skin, but I bought this for whenever I feel too lazy to bother with that. I will say that this doesn't remove mascara too well. I use washable formulas, so I can only imagine how poorly this would do with waterproof ones. But it gets off the majority of my facial makeup, which is awesome. Full disclosure, my makeup style is relatively light and minimal, but still. Unfortunately, this makes my skin feel slightly stripped and dry after using it. It's nothing severe, and can be rectified by an extra dab of moisturizer. But because of this, it's not an every day type of cleanser for me. But if you have more oily/combo skin, this would probably suit you better.
This is a good mascara from the drugstore. It isn't holy grail status or anything, but it worked well, and I'm glad I tried it. The tube lasted the average three months before drying out, which is nice. It's an easy to use wand that fits easily into my upper and lower lashes. It builds a good amount of volume without making the lashes overly clumpy. The formula is very dark and doesn't make my lashes look grayish. The main issue I have with this is that it's not as lengthening as I would like. It also flakes a little more than I thought it would, which is annoying, but not uncommon for a washable mascara. So while I strongly prefer Maybelline Lash Sensational® Washable Mascara, this isn'5t a bad buy.
This is a great liquid lipstick formula, and definitely the most comfortable one I've found. Even though they dry down completely matte and transfer proof, I don't feel like they suck all the life out of my lips. Sure, they feel a bit dry after eight straight hours of wear, but what liquid lipstick doesn't do that? I find these to be very very longwearing, and I never have to fully reapply throughout the day. At the most, I have to touch up the inner rim or corners. Speaking of the inner rim, I haven't noticed this forming that nasty, white ring that some lippies cause, which is awesome! The formula, wear time, and colors are all great, and I think anyone who needs something that lasts all day should try these out.
This isn't a bad product, I just don't understand why it's so popular, and will not repurchase it. The consistency is nice and thin, and it blends into the skin easily. It feels hydrating and comfortable, and makeup looks great over the top. But I honestly don't see the point in using this as a primer. It doesn't help with the longevity of my makeup or change the finish of my skin. So what's the point of using this instead of a regular lightweight moisturizer? Well, there is none. Additionally, this has added synthetic fragrance, and although it smells fantastic, it's not a healthy ingredient for the skin. So while I'm not trying to bash this, I'm just saying that when you really think about it, it's more or less useless as a makeup primer.

This is my favorite high coverage concealer! I bought it on a friend's recommendation thinking I wouldn't like it, but I was completely wrong! Usually, my normal to dry skin doesn't like things with "matte" in the name, but this isn't a dry, artificial matte. It isn't dewy by any means, but it's not completely void of dimension either. I like to blend this into my skin using my fingertips. I find that the warmth from them really help the product mesh nicely with my skin, but a damp sponge also works very well. I think this looks great under the eyes, but its forte is definitely on blemishes. It covers them up very well, and if it needs to be built up a little bit, it doesn't get cakey. This doesn't accentuate texture either, it just glides on and becomes one with the skin. Even though the coverage can be built up and concentrated, I am able to sheer it out wherever I don't want as much coverage, which is great, because it allows me to still show my freckles and have my skin look like skin. Although this is definitely on the pricey side, a small bit stretches out a long way. I've been using this nearly every day that I wear makeup for quite a few months now, and I still haven't reached the bottom of the jar yet. Overall, this is a great investment that I know will work for many skin types and tones.
This is the best facial scrub! The granules are very, very fine, which allows me to really work it in to my skin and get a good exfoliation. The second I rinse this off of my face, it's obvious how much smoother my skin has become. A great thing about this is how the little scrubby bits don't completely dissolve as you're rubbing them in, which allows you to scrub for as long as you need to. For those of you who are worried that this may dry your skin, I can assure that it won't. Many scrubs tend to do this, but this is balanced out with lots of nourishing butters and oils to hydrate the skin. Although this product is a bit pricey and comes in a small little pot, it's still worth buying because of how far a small amount of product stretches. A pot of it lasts me for many months. The only downside of this is that it's only available for purchase a few months out of the year, around Father's Day. But other than that, the product is flawless, and I can't recommend it enough.
Review for: The Body Shop Aloe Soothing Night Cream more...
Over the past several months, this has become my favorite night cream. My skin is normal to dry, and it can be slightly on the sensitive side. My previous favorite night cream just wasn't working for me anymore, so I decided to give this one a shot. I'm so glad that I did! It adds lots of moisture into my skin, and my face is visibly softer and smoother each morning, without any signs of irritation. I appreciate how this doesn't have added fragrance and has better, healthier ingredients in comparison to some other brands. Additionally, it's relatively affordable, considering the fact that it's a non-drugstore product, yet the quality and amount of product in the jar is the same, if not better. I truly believe in this product, and can envision it benefitting many different skin types!
This is my new holy grail! I use it every single morning to cleanse my face in place of a traditional facial wash. It is just as good at cleansing the skin and removing makeup as the original Simple Micellar Water, but it actually does feel more hydrating! With other micellar waters, I've noticed that they can leave my skin slightly parched after I run my cotton pad over the skin several times. This doesn't do that at all, which is especially great during these winter months. I also appreciate how I didn't get any breakouts or sensitivity after I introduced this into my routine. And when I use it for taking off mascara, it doesn't require any harsh pressure or excessive rubbing. It's great, it's affordable, and it lives up to the claims. Great job, Simple!
