I really love this foundation. I got it on clearance at my local drugstore; I didn't expect much from it but my first try I was seriously impressed. Since I have dry skin, I do look for a product that can give me a natural dewy complexion and this foundation definitely fit the bill. I apply this foundation with my BeautyBlender and I get a flawless, natural look every single time. This foundation really gives the "your skin but better" impression when it's applied and set with a powder. It lasts all day as well and I never have to use a blotting paper to clean up excess oils on my face. This foundation is also pretty light and doesn't feel heavy on your skin. The only complaint I have is that this foundation oxides pretty quickly, but then almost color matches and switches to a shade that fits you most? Does that even make any sense? I don't know, but this foundation really does it. This foundation is really amazing.
I have my Skinfinish in the shade "Soft & Gentle"; and I personally really like the color and the finish of it, except the panned product is the only thing that I really have a problem with. The Product is very hard and scratchy; there's little glitters in the highlighter that infest the packaging and makes it dirty no matter what. Even when I purchased the highlighter, glitter was already smeared all over the inside compact. It isn't a heavy glitter, it's fine enough that its really not noticeable but still there, if that makes any sense.
I personally was not the biggest fan of this concealer but it was still doable. I felt that the concealer was very light coverage to the point that it was so easy to over blend and remove the product. The smell was nothing special either; everyone said it smelt like coconuts, but all I smelt was paint. The packaging is cute though I have to say... I give this a 2 star just because it only really is good for those "no makeup makeup" days, other than that I wouldn't recommend this product...
It is an okay product. It does do what it says when it comes to pore minimization, but the only downside is the fact that it is very silicony which can make it so difficult to layer foundation over top. I wouldn't recommend this product for people with dry skin, as it can make you feel even drier and begin to pill off.
I personally think this is one of the best palettes that I own. Not only is it super pigmented, but there is little to no fallout, and the packaging is so unique. I first saw this palette when my cousin instagrammed it and I was like "OMG I need this." So I went online and purchased it, not really expecting anything. I had never heard about LimeCrime before so I didn't have high expectations. On the day it arrived, I spent hours on hours playing with it. I noticed that the colors were intensely pigmented, super buttery and smooth and when applied to the eye very easy to blend out. The colors were nothing I had ever seen in a palette before (before the Modern Renaissance Palette) and I was so excited to use them more and more. When the shadows were used with Fix +, it was almost like drawing on your face with a Crayola marker thats how pigmented and opaque these colors were. The packaging as well was very enjoyable. The colors were very beautiful and attracted me to the palette. It is a thick cardboard with what seems to be some type of sticker paper enclosing the entire design. It as a gorgeous etherial print, very unique and flattering to the entire palette. In comparison to the Modern Renaissance Palette, this one is merely the more younger, bubbly sister. You still get some aspects of the ABH palette but the colors are more vibrant and multi use in the LimeCrime palette. Get this palette before it is too late. It is so amazing and well worth the money.
5$ foundation from the drugstore? You'd have to be kidding? At first, my expectations were low, and they stayed low when I first tried out the foundation. My color match was perfect, as I am the lightest shade. There is a wide shade range, but not enough to reach the darkest of complexions. When I first tried out the foundation, I used my Smashbox Photo Finish Primer. What a mistake. The foundation slipped around and made my redness start to peek through at my cheeks. It also felt really sticky on my face even when I set it down with powder. I instantly decided that I didn't like this foundation. I put in my drawer for a few days until I decided to revisit it. This time, I primed with the L'Oreal Magic Lumi Primer and I was much more impressed that than the first time. The foundation stuck to my face, giving me a more flawless complexion; it stayed on all day and even made me look glowy. Even more recently since I've dubbed it my holy grail foundation, I've been mixing it in with my moisturizer to create a BB cream consistency. I'm not one for wearing heavy foundations, so mixing the liquidy foundation into my thick moisturizer seemed to be a good medium for me. Now it is what I wear everyday for my face makeup. It gives me an etherial glow, perfected complexion and all over medium coverage without wearing just the foundation. I do recommend this foundation, but not so much for people with oily skin. I have a friend who tried this foundation and she said it slipped right off. If you have dry to combo skin this will work loads better for you.
I personally really love this cleanser. Not only is it a very respectable drugstore price, but it definitely outweighs how much it actually costs. It is very comparable to products that you can buy at Sephora if I am going to be completely honest. I have combo / dry skin and this worked so well for my skin type. When applied to the face, you can feel a tingling / cooling sensation and you can basically feel it pulling the dirt out from your pores. I also love this cleanser for the simple fact that it doesn't give you "rubber face." It doesn't strip your face of its natural oils and cleanses it thoroughly. Once you're done washing your face, you can see a natural radiance and feel a high degree of softness. When paired with a moisturizer, you are really repairing your skin. In my opinion, when I paired it with my Ponds Dry Skin Cream, I had never seen my face look better. I had glowing, moisturized skin and little to no blemishes. This cleanser is a staple in my collection and will continue to be.
I was very disappointed in these lashes and i hate saying that because they were gifted to me. Beautiful? yes. Packaging was beautiful as well. When it comes to the actual lashes I am nothing but distraught. The individual lashes themselves are very thin and nicely fit together but the lash band is insanely heavy and makes your eyes feel very heavy. Normally I LOVE kiss lashes and I really do mean that I love them, these ones just didn't cut it for me.
Since I was 12 I've been obsessed with the thought of trying out some BH Cosmetics products and then when I got a job, I saw this palette and instantly was drawn to the colors and the packaging. I knew nothing about Carli Bybel until I looked her up and fell in love with her content. When I received this palette, I was honestly shocked. For a brand so cheap, the colors were so pigmented and buttery. They blended really easily on the eyes and didn't need any primer mist to enhance the colors. The Mattes are amazing and wore all day as well as the shimmery colors which can be easily turned into a gorgeous foiled shadow. The highlighters were also high in quality as well, and dare I say it, a dupe for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in Gleam (now discontinued.) I have such high praise for Carli as this palette was beyond my expectations. I cannot wait for the updated Deluxe edition!
This collection is anything but good in my opinion. Not only was the price tag hefty I felt that the quality of the products were not as up to par as I would've hoped. The matte colors in the palette were okay, nothing great. Too Faced standalone shadows are much better; the Chocolate Bar palettes definitely housed the better of the Too Faced shadows. This palettes mattes just felt so off, they didn't blend and they were not as pigmented as Nikkie hyped them up to be. The shimmery and more colorful shadows in the palette were just as bad. They had a storm of fallout and again were not even pigmented. Viewers were speculating that Nikkie was manipulating the swatches in her video because she never showed herself swatching them and they were insanely more pigmented than the actual colors in the palette. The blushes on the other hand were perfect; 100% the best part of the palette. The Chocolate Soleil bronzer (obviously reformulated) was not as good and not as pigmented as the original. The highlight, "Champagne Truffle" should've stayed as an eyeshadow. The presentation of this so called highlight was absolutely botched and was beyond disappointing. I personally could not pick up any color on my brush, with my fingers or with a brush sprayed with MAC Fix +. I hit hard pan very quickly and for that I digress. Aside from the horrible palette, the collection was underwhelming as well. The purple Better Than Sex was boring. The color was so dark, I get confused that it even is purple sometimes. I doesn't show up purple on the lashes and feels like a different formula that the original mascara. The Sketch Marker Eyeliner on the other hand; I love. Best part of this tragedy. This eyeliner is my holy grail, its very pigmented, long lasting and the felt tip never bends which I really appreciate. Then the glitter. Waste. What really bothered me as well, was the fact that Nikkie hyped up that fact that it comes with a bag. Let me get this straight - you are excited over a plastic bag? Alright. Overall I would not reccommend this to anyone, there are so many more Too Faced palettes that are cheaper and better quality.
