I love using cartwheel when I’m in store in order to save a bit of money, but the only thing I wish is that it could automatically apply any applicable coupons to your order without you having to individually scan the entire contents of your cart one by one.
So this is actually the only Glossier product I bought and didn’t love, as my skin had a craaaazy reaction to it. I put it on after a shower and within a few minutes it had burned my skin so bad it felt like I’d sat in the sun for hours on a day with a UV index of 10 without sunscreen. I’m not sure if it reacted with something else in my routine or what, but I’m too nervous to try it again.
The brush size is amazing, the product is amazing, the price tag is amazing. I’ve used both the medium brown formula on its own, or I pop the clear on over a pencil when I’m going for a heavier brow. Both are awesome.
I can’t give this more than a four as I’ve only used one bottle and it’s so little product that I don’t think it’s fair to fully judge it, but I will say that the price tag in relation to the size of the bottle is definitely a bit upsetting. It smells like HEAVEN, though.
This setting spray is my ride or die, despite the price tag. I go through bottles of this like my life depends on it (my makeup does, obv). I feel like my makeup truly does set and stay all day with this product, but I never feel sticky.
I do find this setting spray to be a little more wet than other brands. It takes a while to dry on my face and my mascara always smears a bit. However, it’s a bit more accessible than a MAC or Urban Decay spray, so for that reason alone it’s great. I do wish it was more in the $10-$13 price range though — I normally pay about $17.
For my medium olive skin tone, Laguna is the perfect bronzer for contour (or if I’m more tan, an all-over bronze). It never makes me look muddy or orange, it’s just the most natural brown. I also love how huge it is — if you make the investment in this bronzer it’l last for damn ever.
Opal is a total classic and the highlighter I reach for to really make my look pop. I usually love cream highlighters, but on days I’m wearing more makeup and need a little more oomph, a swipe on each cheekbone gets me literally alllllll of the compliments.
I’ve had this toothbrush forever and though it does the job of an electric toothbrush, I feel like it could be better. Aesthetically it’s a mess — it’s so thick that you can’t store it in any typical toothbrush holders and if you stand it in a medicine cabinet (if you can even fit the height), it leaves a puddle of water every time you put it down due to the cavity in the bottom for the charger, which is gross. Definitely in the market for a new one when I get through my replacement heads (which are pretty expensive, tbh).
