Meh. These were just okay. I liked how creamy the formula was, and they smell great! The application was nice. But the colors didn’t do it for me. I’m not a dark lip kinda gal, so I may be biased. I was sent 2 of the darker shades- one was bronzey and the other was silvery purple. I could see these being good for a costume or something. But for the makeup looks I typically wear, these were a no-go.
I really enjoy the finish of this product! It smooths out texture and gives a nice wash of color to the skin. You can build up coverage or sheer it out. I do notice it’ll sometimes crease around my nose when I get oily, but if I use powder this can be avoided. The only complaint I have is that the color range is pretty narrow and the shades can lean more on the yellow side.
This is my holy grail skin perfecting product! It leaves a gorgeous glow to the skin. It evens out redness, but coverage is pretty minimal. I use this all over, and then add foundation where I need it. This has amazing SPF protection and is great for summer when you don’t need as much coverage! It comes in only 2 shades which is kind of strange, but supposedly they are universal and adapt to your skin tone. I used the light shade and it works perfectly for my NC25 skin. It comes in a sturdy tube with a pump which is super convenient and sanitary. Love this and will continue to purchase forever!
While this looked nice on, it ended up breaking me out. I was bummed because this product has such a hype of being an amazing under eye concealer. It gave me clogged pores regardless of how thoroughly I cleansed my skin. The packaging is nice, but it is quite pricey. I find that NYX HD concealer is a great dupe that doesn’t break me out or break the bank!
I liked the formula and application of this foundation, but I didn’t like the white cast it gave in photos. For an HD foundation made for photography/camera use, I found this unflattering. Would not repurchase.
I found this far too cakey and thick for everyday use. It settled into fine lines and didn’t look natural at all. I love the incorporation of a pump- makes for very clean application! However, it’s pretty hard to control how much you pump out. This would be good for events/photos, but as far as day-to-day wear I wasn’t a fan.
I really love how natural this highlighter looks. I’m not a fan of the glittery sparkly highlighters. I have this in the shade moonstone. It’s a gorgeous pearlescent opal color that looks lit from within. The only complaint I have is that I sometimes suspect that it causes clogged pores. Could be a coincidence, but I notice tiny little bumps on my cheekbones whenever I use this product frequently.
I adore MACs matte lipsticks. They’re long-lasting and have a gorgeous pigment. They have a great range of colors as well. The only complaint I have about the formula is that if your lips aren’t well moisturized, it can make your lips look a little crusty and flaky.
I love this concealer! After trying NARS radiant creamy concealer and finding it rather lackluster, I decided to pick this up from the drugstore. It was cheap and I figured why not. I use this to brighten up my under eye area and to correct blemishes. I really like the finish- it looks really natural! Depending on how you apply it, it can crease under your eyes. Using a brush gave me a cakey look. A damp beauty sponge is the best way to apply.
I’m really prone to breakouts, so I’m really picky about the powders I use on my skin. I bought this product because it has such a hype of being a great product. I use it to set my t zone and it works really well for my combo skin! I haven’t experienced and breakouts, and the amount of product you get is impressive. It’s pretty pricey, which may be the only setback. But I only use a small amount so it lasts me forever.
