Review for: URBAN DECAY Born To Run Eyeshadow Palette more...
I love this pallete! A great range of colours. There's very little fallout, and the pigment is builable, not too intense on first application, but you can definitely create some strong looks with this. If I had to pick any flaw, it would be that it could do with a few more matte shades, but many of the shimmer shades are subtle enough that they can be used in the crease. This pallete allows you to create everything from the most subtle to the most dramatic look, if definitely recommend it.
I love the lightest shade in this, its white, with a green shimmer, and I wear it all the time! The darkest shade is too dark for me, but I do wear the middle shade if I want something a bit more subtle. Every makeup revolution highlighter that I've tried has been great. Shimmery, not glittery, soft and easy to apply, doesn't leave a 'cast' on your skin, generally excellent quality, and even better when you consider the price!
Perfectly drinkable, inoffensive beer. The sort of beer you can have a couple in the house on your own, while watching a movie, and not feel like you're "drinking". I'm happy to drink it, but it's not my favourite.
Good tea, but brews a bit too strong too quickly for my tastes, gets a bit of a bitter edge to it. I love the monkey, and I have bought giant gift sets of the tea just to get a toy monkey before! If you've got hard water, or you like really strong tea, this will be a good tea for you.
My favourite teabag tea of all time. I love it. The black tea doesn't brew so bitter that it ruins the bergamot, the bergamot isn't so overpowering that it tastes like perfume, and the vanilla softens the whole lot. It's just a pity that absolutely nowhere sells it anymore :(
I don't drink decaf as a general rule, but my other half has to, as caffeine gives him migraines. This is his decaf tea of choice. When I run out of my own teabags, I'm happy enough to drink this. If I habitually drank normal tea, (I'm an Earl Grey girl) then I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the decaf, and the normal version. This brews nicely, not so fast that it's stewed before you can whip the teabag out, but not so slow that you have to stand in the kitchen forever waiting for some flavour to appear. Tea is life, even decaf tea! This is a decent cuppa.
Still suffers from the artificial sweetener issue, but the flavour makes it acceptable. It's tasty, it's refreshing, but it will leave your mouth tasting like the bottom of a dirty bird cage for the next 24 hours. Yes, even the full sugar version has artificial sweeteners in. Drinkable if there's no better option.
If you're going to make a full sugar drink, why do you have to also put artificial sweeteners in it too? Why make something both unhealthy, and unpleasant? You honestly might as well have the diet version. It tastes awful too, but at least it doesn't make you fat, and give you diabetes. At least you can just about taste the lemon and lime in this, and it is refreshing, which is why it gets a grudging 2 stars, but it's not nice, and I wouldn't choose it unless there was nothing available without artificial sweeteners.
