Now if you are looking for a highlight with a instant shine, I would highly recommend colourpop’s super shock highlighter in the color Lunch Money. Its a soft whitish gold color, but it doesn't have any glitter so it looks very natural.
These highlighters are really inexpensive, i believe they are only $8. They are extremely smooth and creamy but the only way I get the biggest color payoff is if I apply it with my finger, otherwise, if I use brush the highlight is pretty much nonexistent.
Now these aren't really high intense highlights. They don't give instant shine like normal highlights but are designed to enhance your complexion in any type of photograph. It acts almost like an instagram filter to your face. The palette comes in Dim Light, Incandescent Light, and Radiant light. PROS:
It gives a nice glowing complexion a little goes a long way. It’s subtle and really brightens and highlights the face
and the other hand one CON:
Price. its quite expensive, especially since its not a staple product in a makeup collection.
Personally I think its worth it compared to the individual highlights.
I am always hesitant to try oils on my face, just because I am prone to breakouts, but but I've found that oils have played a huge part in balancing out the oil/moisture balance in my skin, and just a few drops added to my evening moisture helps keep my skin looking dewy and healthy without any oily buildup. Rich in essential fatty acids known to recharge and replenish the skin, I noticed that the maracuja oil works to rejuvenate my skin and help deliver an even-toned complexion.
I love this primer because its a water-based gel and its formulated for sensitive oily and acne prone skin like mine. Its also really lightweight and helps keep my foundation in place all day. Generally I used my toner first before I apply my primer and it does help keep my face from becoming shinny or greasy during the day. The primer is a little bit on the pricey side but it does last me a good three months.
This is my favorite toner of all time. I love the packaging, and how I am able to see the little gold specks in the toner. The toner is very hydrating and really affordable. I get my toner and emulsion from Amazon and the 145ml lasts me a long time.
