This is, without a doubt, the single best eyeliner I have ever used in my life. My favorite used to be the ITCosmetics gel waterproof, but this one is even better. Why? Because I have sobbed with it on, I have rubbed my eyes, I have licked my finger and rubbed my eyes and it STAYS put. Seriously...my problem was washing it off (which really, a make up remover cloth took it off no problem). I line both my top lid and my waterline and it just stays all day long. Now, be mindful that you wear other make up on your eye. Those budge. This? I wore just eyeliner all day long and it doesn't BUDGE. I love it. I need one in every color now.
Besame Cosmetics American Beauty, original lipstick color from 1945, is STUNNING. It is the absolutely perfect red for me. Matte finish, comfy to wear, non drying, and long lasting, this is my new favorite lipstick! The first application, I did not follow my normal lipstick protocol of liner and application with a brush. No matter! No feathering, stayed put, even through drinking and eating, with minimal transfer. I got the American Beauty, I gave my mom the Tango Red, which is an orangey-based red that looks absolutely fabulous with her skin tone. I kind of want to buy up as much as I can afford to make sure I always have some in stock. I can do that, right? Someone want to donate to the cause? ;)
I have rather short hair that has a weird variety of textures thanks to chemo. Straight, curly, fine, thick. It's also currently dyed a mixture of turquoise and dark blue, a mermaid shade. I colored it two weeks ago and it was already fading making me re color it. When I recolored it, I picked up this cleansing balm to try instead. Here's my review with bullets: *good amount of product for the price. I paid $9.99, but have seen it as low as $8.99 pre coupons at Target since then. *Pleasant smell - really like the clean rosemary mint scent *does not leave hair weighed down or greasy - I'm surprised that it feels so clean considering I'm not taking shampoo to my hair! I was really expecting it to feel greasy! *leaves hair soft and my curly sections are curly instead of frizzed out
End decision: glad I bought it and am using it daily. It feels good on my hair and leaves it soft and smooth. No weighed down or greasy feeling, and smells great!
Totally non greasy and very low if any smell. This glides on and absorbs nicely. Exactly what i would expect of a neutrogena product, this is my go to sunscreen to wear daily under my make up and to reapply right over it! Definitely a favorite of mine and one that I will continue to buy!
My friend gave me her sample of this mascara. I think the three little pompoms on the brush do a good job of evenly applying the mascara and helping you achieve lift and length. I like the lightweight formula of the mascara, but then again...too light can be a problem, too. Overall I like it but if I'm spending that kind of money on mascara, I'm probably going to still go for my other favorites first: Smashbox's X Rated, Estee Lauder's Stupendous, and Jelly Pong Pong's Fairy Lashes
I bought this life palette from a special with ipsy. I'm glad I bought it through them at the discount. The makeup itself is great, lasted a long time (eyeshadows and blush). I like how it's replaceable little circles. But it doesn't come with more than an eye shadow brush, that brush doesn't stay where it should, and there's no lip brush. If your palette has lip color in it, you should include a lipbrush. I would've liked a little drawer or so with more brushes tucked in. Yes, I have eyeshadow brushes and a blush brush and a lip brush, but with all that is offered here, I would like it to be included, too. Packaging is sturdy hard plastic. Seeing retail price, I definitely would not have paid that. But I got it at a wonderful discount and it was worth that price!
I have not used much in the way of concealers and foundations in the past, usually relying on BB cream and a good moisturizer. I bought this to try for Chemo Round 2 to help cover up the chemo rash. I chose the right color. Blends super well, conceals amazingly, and is light weight. I don't feel all gunked up. A little pricey, but worth it! $17 from her online store and at amazon.com
I received a trial size of this mascara through a BzzAgent campaign. I'm not really impressed with it and can't see myself spending $30 on this mascara. It leaves your lashes sparse, doesn't give much volume, and leaves much to be desired. The formula is non-gunky so that's good. But I don't see much of a difference between this and the drug store brands. in fact, I think the drug store brands actually do better in volume, thickness, and helping you hold a curl after using a curler. It's not HORRIBLE, but I don't think I'd ever buy it.
This is a fabulous moisturizer that also reduces dark spots. With chemo induced acne rash, the scars on my face and torso are dark and horrendous. This is helping me lighten them, noticeable in just a couple of weeks!
