I received the cookies n creme and the Reese one free from my first food Voxbox and I'm so glad I did! These make a great snack especially if I'm craving something very sweet (these are definitely on the sweet side for my taste so I only eat a very small amount each time). The cookies n creme one taste just like the bar but with more cookies, I think I would prefer this over the bar, plus it's easy to share. The Reese one is also fantastic with the right amount of peanut and chocolate mix... It's my husband's favorite out of the two we tried.
Review for: Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte's Magic Cream, 1.7 oz. more...
I do really like this cream but don't think I would purchase the full size because of the price, maybe as a splurge for Christmas one day. This is the reason why I took a star off. The cream is quite thick, I wanna say kinda like peanut butter but it melts into the skin and spreads very well and quickly. It definitely has a luxurious feel to it. I find I only need half a pea size and it's enough to fully hydrate my skin. I've been using the deluxe 15mL size everyday for the past 2 weeks and I'm only halfway done. It absorbs pretty quickly so I'm able to start applying my makeup base right after massaging it into my skin. The cream is gently fragranced, it kind of reminds me of a spa and not in a floral way.
These are great at helping my towels feel softer and I find it kind of conditions the fabric so it lasts longer too. I'm just not a huge fan of the scent (I've switched to unscented). Sometimes I don't mind it, but other times I absolutely despise the scent that it makes me feel sick..it's weird.. On fabrics, the scent does linger but I'd say no more than a day.
Review for: Tide To Go, Instant Stain Remover Pens, 3 ea more...
This is great to keep in my purse and to leave in the office. I find it works pretty well for smaller stains like a coffee splash or sauce from my lunch. The liquid doesn't irritate my skin and I like that it doesn't have a strong lingering scent. The only thing is, it's not as good for removing the stains from white clothes, but it does at least softens it a bit so it's not as noticeable.
This does the job but it's not the best I've used (best one is Shiseido AG, I could only find it Japan...). I use it to help prevent and deodorize any potential feet smells and it works OK when my feet do get how and a bit sweaty. I wish it left my feet feeling a bit more fresh. I'm not a huge fan of the scent, it smells too strong and leaves a white cloud in the air. It also smells like i put deodorant on and it lingers in the air....so i think other people can smell it too. The spray also comes out really strongly and it's not a delicate mist so it's easy to get patches of white powder on your feet.
For my vacations the past few years, i've been choosing this as my sunscreen, mainly because I don't like products that are overly scented. It's not my favourite sunscreen because I prefer using mineral, but as a cheaper alternative, this has worked for both my husband and I. It doens't feel too sticky or oily so long as we don't over apply.
Sweet Cream was my absolute favourite color. It was such a beautiful peachy pink and was great for spring/summer time. I went through 1.5 tubes before I stopped using it. I think I started to develop an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients (thinking castor oil is the culprit). My lips would have these tiny sores and would feel itchy after wearing it for a day. I never had cold sores nor do I share my lipsticks so it was really odd. The moment I stopped using the lipstick and gave me lips a few days of just using Drunk Elephant lippe, it was all better. I tried the lipstick again and the same thing happened...it's unfortunate because i really liked the color. Other than that, i did find it stayed on fairly well, but I did need to reapply after eating. The texture is quite thick but it did keep my lips from feeling dry. I has a very creamy texture and goes on very pigmented with one swipe. In some of my pictures, i did go to the Bite Beauty Lip Lab in Toronto to get one made. It was a fantastic experience! Although a bit pricey, I do recommend everyone to try it out. It's a fantastic idea for a girls day activity.
I was SOOOO excited to get this when I made a trip down to Target (Canada doesn't sell it unless you buy it online from well.ca). I prefer to smell my hair care products first because I'm quite picky about the scent. I smelled the shampoo and conditioner and the floral scent seemed ok, but I didn't really like it lingering in my hair so long. The mousse is definitely light weight and doesn't feel sticky, but I didn't like that i could smell the floral scent the whole morning. In my opinion, it's a bit heavy and not as light and fresh as I would hope.I used it for about 3 weeks daily and switched back to Bumble and Bumble thickening spray because I really couldn't stand the scent anymore. Also, I noticed it seemed to weigh my hair down. I crimp parts of my hair to give it some lift and volume but throughout the day, it just seemed to get flatter. I don't know if I would ever finish this product, but lucky for me it wasn't too expensive.
I swear Canada doesn't sell these anymore...either that or you can only find it specialty candy shops. I used to love these as a kid. The rice crisps stay crunchy and it give the chocolate a good mouth feel. The chocolate quality is also decent and doesn't taste powdery in my mouth like the Hershey's kisses do.
