Helloooooo! (I hope you read that in Mrs. Doubtfire voice) I'm Katherine! I'm engaged to my amazing boyfriend and we have two adorable kitties, Rose (from Golden Girls) and Poppy. I have two addictions: makeup & office supplies. I work from home so I don't get to do a full beat everyday but since I just graduated, my face is ready. :D I've recently started learning how to hand letter so I'm currently obsessed with Tombow Dual Brush pens but my true office supply loves are pens and sticky notes. I bake cupcakes a lot, I even toyed with the idea of opening a bakery but I want to keep baking as my hobby.
I’m a big fan of Dermalogica products! And I have super dry skin so this moisture masque is the perfect thing for me. Some masks leave my skin feeling tight and not in a good, small pore way. This did not do that. I would definitely recommend to mask lovers and dry skin havers.
Our cats go nutburgers for treats and they are usually pretty picky. But they all seem to like this brand! So I can finally stop hoarding a bunch of different bags. We’d definitely buy again and it’s a great value especially with three cats.
It smells amazing. It feels amazing. And their other products go really well with this. Sometimes brands have competing scent stories with their products but this is inline with the rest. It smells like a beach and sunshine. Plus it makes your skin feel incredible.
I actually use this brush to cut my crease. I have hooded lids and smol eyes so this works great for me. It keeps its shape and can get razor thin to really define the crease. Smashbox’s brushes are a bit spendy but i think the quality to price ratio is more than fair.
This was recommended to me as a dupe of the DRUNK ELEPHANT™ Lala Retro™ Whipped Cream and it’s only like $13. Now I won’t say it’s a dupe, it’s not a cream and it doesn’t do as good of a job as DE but it feels nice on the skin, especially after a shower and it doesn’t help my face to remain smooth and soft. If you’re looking for an affordable moisturizer, this fits the bill.
This is probably one of my all time favorite palettes. The colors are pigmented af (they are eye safe but may stain your lids) they blend so well and while it might look daunting, you can easily create a neutral and a wild eye.
I am VERY particular about what I use on my face. I have super dry lizard skin and work hard to keep the scales at bay. I washed my face with my usual Drunk Elephant cleanser and applied the Philosophy Renewed Hope. I am always skeptical of potential gimmicks in products but I was so surprised. I massaged it into my face and lo and behold there were dry skin bunches coming off on my hand (see the photo!) and once I rinsed and dried my face it was so smooth. It made applying the rest of my morning skincare a breeze. This is definitely a product I’ll integrate into my routine going forward. Before and after photos (my face is always a bit red) show the glowy skin after. I love it.
