For me it all started with the origins face matte moisturizing. I loved that product, and used it religiously at morning and night time for the past month.
Recently, Origins had a store event where they gave free facials and I went there and got a free facial and after that they put the serum on me.
It immediately felt nourishing, refreshing, and softening of the skin. I got the serum, and I have applied it after my moisturizing in the AM and PM time. Really love it because it's lightweight, it does not have that sticky feeling and it helps me achieve glow, radiance, and softness of the skin.
I would definitely recommend it. (It is on the pricey side, but I think skincares if they are good quality will come along with a high end price) otherwise you might not be investing wisely.
I recently acquired the Kate Spade bag in a black color and I am in love! This is by far the first luxy bag I buy -- and I call it luxy as I only use backpags and small priced purses from h&m.
This is in my opinion a quality bag, very spacious, and I am happy they place a thick rectangular bottom that makes the bag firm and not lose its shape when filling it whith things.
The handles are of good size as some bags have really small handles and they can be uncomfortable to your hands. But not this bag. I still have to try to wear it with the crossbody strap as I usually just use it with the handles.
I would recommend it to friends and I have also received many many compliments from people.
I got this during black Friday season and they price difference was exponential, so I am happy with the deal off during that time. I would still thing the bag is worth at regular price as its simply functional, classic, and beautiful.
I love Origins Matte Moisturizing. The first thing that sold it for me was it’s wonderful smell, it has a citric hint to it.
I also love the packaging as it is cute and attractive for a skin care product. Most packages look very generic. Once I tried it, the texture is smooth and light and applied to your face if feels amazing. My face felt hydrated, moisturized with a dowy feel to it, but not oily. No excess is left as it dries and absorbs pretty well.
I also think the price is fair for the product, is a small jar but you only need a bit everyday to add that extra glow and bare a clean fresh face.
It reminds me of french products that are targeted to women who prefer to use a natural look and flawless skin is the key for that.
I started using Sephora when I first moved to the U.S. some years ago. They have progressively gotten better with the selection of products they offer, specially skincare products.
As a fan of beauty and fashion, I find most of sephora brands reliable, and I think their beauty loyalty program is very appealing as you get many perks like samples and points to get more products to try.
To me, the biggest issue is how full and packed it is at all times. I find myself always feeling down to test a new product, but not even imagining going to the store as I know for a fact that it will be chaos. I have also tried multiple locations and it ends being the same.
Sometimes you have wonderful staff who is helpful and friendly, and others you et some really indifferent people to "help you out" So I guess is a hit or missed.
I mainly buy products online as it is easy, and they have a fast shipping most times.
My last point is that Sephora should take down the advertisements for holiday free sample bags if they ran out of supply as it feels deceiving when I have a 30$ purchase in my cart and decide to buy $50 worth of stuff to get that holiday sample only to received a notification that my order is on its way, BUT the sample ran out so it wont be there.
Above all, I still have to find I beauty store with such a quality assortment of brands and products that I heavily rely on and trust. So try Sephora and go to the store to test things but maybe stick to online purchases to avoid the long lines and annoying staff(sometimes)
I have a very positive relationship with Whole Foods. My husband and I have moved a lot and because we do not owned a car, we need to figure out the closest grocery market. We have tried safeway, walmart, trader joe's, specialty stores, local markets, etc.
However, we never gave a try to whole foods before because we felt it was overpriced. The last time I moved, I was buying groceries at Walmart, and it felt like a nightmare as my spouse and I are very healthy eaters, and mindful of our spending and the nutritional value in the products we buy. ( Since I took nutrition classes, I became more aware on how to select products and brands for better healthy eating habits) After our nightmare at Walmart land their lack of fruits and veggies selection, and only being able to pick frozen stuff, we finally gave in and decided to try Whole Foods.
Although we agree on the price rising our budget by a good 30-50%, we also noticed the amazing quality in the produce, the pouring of options we have for the foods we like, and the nice extra features the Whole Foods store has ( nice coffee shop are, bakery etc). This is what made us feel that, although we are on a budget, we find ourselves relief and happy with our purchases. We find nice selections of wine and cheese and we now are getting a bit more accustom to buy organic.
Finally, Whole Foods meat and poultry selection is the shocking part. We thought this would be the most costly, but we have noticed is an affordable price for a quality product.
I am happy we made the switch and we are now sticking with Whole Foods unconditionally.
not a fan, I used this as part of my workout at the gym that had very little machines for core. but this hurts my back and seems like my arms are the ones doing the workout not my core. I had a trainer with me to show me how to properly do it, but I still did not feel comfortable.
The all in one kettle ball. Perfect not just for squatting but I use this weight for arm workout, resistance workouts, leg workouts, etc. Specially good when your gym does not have all the specific machines design for specific muscles. this one can help in many workouts.
