A long-lasting, creamy, matte lipstick with a variety of beautiful shades. I must firstly point out that I received these lipsticks for free, as complimentary items to review for my blog, and to provide a honest review of the item for my readers, courtesy of Bourjois Paris and Influenster.I received the entire collection to swatch the lipsticks, and each shade has beautiful pay off and they’re all equally pigmented, with a shade to match every look!
Each lipstick has a unique shaped tip for the easiest application I have ever had from a solid lipstick – I often find they’re too sharply shaped which is why I tend to go for liquid lipsticks, as the wands make it simpler to get a neat application in one swipe!These lipsticks were surprisingly long lasting without a primer, and they stayed on my lips till the third course of my dinners whilst I was out before I had to re-apply. I did find it stayed on all night if I dusted on top and underneath with some translucent setting powder to prime and lock the lipstick in place.
The only issue I had is that it’s rather creamy so it smudges easily during and after application, with a big portion of my lipstick ending up on my wine glass… Due to the creamy texture, I found that these we’re not drying on my lips at all!Bottom Line: Overall – if you’re not a fan of liquid lipsticks, but still want a matte, creamy lipstick – then this is perfect for you. If you’re like me and prefer to have the smudge proof, perfect pout that liquid lipsticks deliver, then probably give these a miss unless you want a less, drying matte lipstick!
I’ve been eyeing up this palette for around 8 months now, and first got to experience it during my trip to the Sephora store on the Champs-Élysées, during my Paris vacation.
There is a reason why everyone is obsessed with this palette – and that is because it is insanely good. The eye shadows are extremely pigmented – which means a little goes a long way! They’re also extremely blend-able and silky, which makes them a joy to use.
My favourite shades from this beautiful palette have to be;
Vermeer – a shimmering, light dusty pink. Buon Fresco – A light, purple mauve matte. Burnt Orange – A fair, light brown-orange, which is perfect for contouring your crease.
Bottom Line: An unbelievable palette. The colours are rich, highly pigmented and silky to the touch! Ultimate blend-ability, which means you can create soft ‘pretty-in-pink’ looks or fierce, valentine-esque smokey eyes.
One of my favourite perfumes. I'll admit the first time I tried it in the store I wasn't too fussed about it. Roll on a few months later and I try it again and instantly fall in love with it. Smells fresh and florally - but not too overpowering! Lasts a long while too!
I love these, and I now have a collection of them! They're so simple and easy to use and make your hair look and feel incredible. I use these when blow drying my hair and it makes it so straight and frizz free! They're perfect for travel and I make sure to keep one in my handbag for touch ups during the day!
Really does help sort out any dark circles and puffiness and it helps brighten the eye area. I like to keep my jar in the fridge as the cooling helps out with the puffiness!! Its not oily so doesn't cause breakouts, and it really does quench your skin - so perfect for dry skin!
I love this highlighter - so easy to use and gives beautiful glow! I personally like to use my beauty blender to apply it along my cheek bones and then use a brush for my eyebrow highlight. A little goes a long way with this product making it last a lot longer than my powder highlighter palettes.
This is amazing. I bought this on a whim from the reviews and fell in love with it. It's a deep cleansing balm that lifts and clears your pores. It's not an exfoliant, so its good for dry skin as it actually moisturises. I have dry/combo skin and it's always soothed my dry skin without making it worse. The only downside is that sometimes it can be a bit gritty due to the mud element and sometimes leaves a slight oily film - but nothing a toner can't get rid of!
I use this in Milk (white), as its perfect on the waterline for brightening your eyes or as a base to achieve bold looks with my eyeshadows. The creamy texture makes it easy to blend and apply. There's a huge array of colours which means there's something to always suit your mood!
Lovely rosy tint, keeps lips hydrated whilst delivering a cute pinky tone to your lips - like a lipgloss only keeping lips moisturised! Only problem is that like all Vaseline products it leaves lips feeling oily. The tin is adorable and can fit in everyone's handbag, but can make application tricky and have to use fingers which then get all oily.
One of my favourite Marc Jacobs scents. Out of my collection I find this to be my favourite daily one. Its fresh, fruity and floral - but not over powering just enough to add a subtle aroma around you. The body lotion has the same lovely aroma, and softens skin whilst delivering a luscious scent.
