  • "The NYC trios aren't the best at the drugstore. It's really powdery and doesn't have great color pay off. However, for $2-3 it is pretty decent I know that NYC reformulated their shadows which is good.I remember them having no color pay off and being chalky and unblendable but it is better now.I would recommend this to those who just started using makeup or if you're on a budget." in 6 reviews
  • "I do find a great primer is the best to bring out the colors and to make it truly long lasting. " in 6 reviews

I love how these are curated so well! These kind of remind me of my elf trios/quads, but I think that these are a little less pigmented. They're pigmented when you put them on at first, but they easily rub off and don't stay for more than maybe three hours. For someone who's experimenting with makeup, these are a nice beginning, but if you need a 12-hour eyeshadow, this isn't the one for you.

I was a bit hesitant to purchase this palette, because it was so inexpensive. But, I wanted to do a smokey eye and didn't have a lot of $$$ to spend... So I opted to give it a shot. And I was ASTONISHED by how wonderfully pigmented the shadow was and how well it complimented my skin! If you are a bit of a makeup snob (like me)... Check this out!

I was disappointed by this pallet. As a big fan of NYC products, I had high expectations. I only shop at the drugstore for makeup, and I always gravitate toward this brand. However, these eyeshadows aren't very pigmented and it takes a lot of work to achieve a dramatic, vivid eye look. If you are going for subtle, this product may work.

I like this product a lot. It is the perfect trio combination. I have very dark Brown eyes and it makes them look pretty. I have used this product many times. It is a great price for what you're wanting. I would recommend this product to someone looking for a good prices easy eye shadow.

I love the trio eye shadow. It s easy to create a great smokey eye look or a natural look with the colors I chose. It builds up really well and lasts all day. I use this everyday for any look that that I want to create. I would buy this product again because of the price and great use

Ehhhh, not my favorite. You get what you pay for though. If you need something very simple, natural, and quick or you're traveling and forgot your shadows this might be a good idea. Quick, cheap, simple, and won't matter or of it gets broken you wont feel your wallet break too

These trios are. My favorite mostly because normally the colors that are linked together go with your eye color and make your eyes pop. The packaging is very nice, I think maybe adding in just a tiny bit bigger applicator could be helpful, but over all a really great product

I have tried the trio in the shade "Central Park Plums" and have found that it is an easy blend and looks perfect on green eyes. The colors are beautiful together and the palette is perfect for traveling and very affordable for the amount of product and quality you recieve.

These eyeshadows have great payoff with a little bit of fallout due to it being powdery instead of a creamy formula. They have fun colors to experiment with and try during the different seasons. It's very affordable so if the colors don't work for you it's not a big deal.

Did anyone else had the problem that the #781 Long beach sands just blended in with your skin color of your eyelids? Not even with (urban decay) primer did the color show. :/
