Nair Shower Power Max Cream Hair Remover, 11 oz more...
This is one area in which I've had a hard time going natural/earth friendly/less toxic, so I do use Nair. This was my first time using this product, and I thought the sponge included would be helpful; I usually use a washcloth, and am always hesitant about what happens with the remains go into the wash with our other towels and washcloths, but it is so flimsy. It was good for the application (and less gunk that doesn't come off nicely all over my hands), but a washcloth works way better for the removal. In addition, now I have a sponge covered in Nair to sit out and dry. Additionally, the pump didn't work at all; maybe this was a problem of my bottle, but I had to open and pour; frustrating. I followed the directions, and while I did see some hair eliminated, it wasn't all gone; I'll have to do another application, but it doesn't help me since I plan to go to the pool tomorrow and have to do the cover-up dance.
With all that said, I have to comment that the smell is way better than other Nair products I've used. Yes, it has that characteristic poisonous smell, but it's way more subtle than usual.
