There is nothing I do not love about this mat! I can wash my dishes, set them to dry, and when they are dry put them away. No messy, drippy tea towels, no stacking them in the sink, no gross drying rack, and no counter puddles. Just nice clean dishes, and a mat that can hang to dry! It's pretty, it's functional, it's inexpensive, and best yet it's WASHABLE! I just LOVE this mat in my kitchen!

I love this product! It is one of my favorite things out of my Influenster Natural VoxBox (: It is amazing, it does everything you would expect and more.
It is good quality, classy looking but stuff obviously very durable, and extremely well suited for everybody's kitchen. I am actually planing on buying one of these for each of my aunts as part of their Christmas presents because I know they will love it and use it just as much as I do.

This is such an excellent product!! It does everything it claims to do and looks great while doing it!
I am so glad I got the opportunity to test out this product through my Naturals VoxBox because it has been a great addition to my kitchen.
I love that it helps my dishes dry quicker and it soaks up all the water from the dishes and doesn't leave my counter wet at all.
Such a great product that I will purchase once mine is worn out. I will spread the word about this and recommend it to anyone who will listen to me about it!!

I usually use the dishwasher to dry the dishes and silverware after I wash them by hand because I believe washing them by hand cleans them better than any machine could. Well, not all the dishes fit in the dishwasher to dry so this works very well for the overflow. It is absorbent, washable, inexpensive, and more attractive than towels. My parents had one but I have always wanted one when I saw people receiving them in their Mom VoxBox. I like that it has multiple uses too.

Final Verdict: I would probably buy another one for us if we got more dishes and it would make a good gift for someone who does dishes a lot by hand or for a newlywed couple.

I am so happy I got a chance to test this product.
I made a post about some lucky ladies had received The Original Dish Drying Mat in their Mom VoxBox and I had included it in my “must Have” list because of all the great reviews, well I ended up winning brand challenge and got a whole line of products and then I received my natural's voxbox and got one in there!!

I love this dish drying mat and all their products so much!!

I usually used a towel on the counter and with a towel it can only hold so much water before it starts dripping down the counter and with that abundance of water it takes for ever for the dishes to dry and makes the inside of my glasses fog up. Well all of this is eliminated with The Original Dish Drying Mat. It looks good on the counter and it’s self take no time to dry when hung up and it never drips on the floor either.

I am so happy I got this and you too should put this on your “must have” list! I can’t wait to invest in The originals whole line of products, and they are exclusive to Bed Bath & Beyond

Although we do own a dishwasher, we rarely use it. I feel like it rarely gets the dishes all that clean, and I often end up rewashing them. That ends up wasting water. As a result, we almost always hand wash our dishes. And since I cook a lot, we have a lot of dishes. Often, we have more dishes than will fit in our dish drainer. While you can set the dishes on the counter, they do not drain properly, and the counter gets soaked with water.

Enter the Original Dish Drying Mat.

Made of high absorbency microfiber, the Original Dish Drying Mat is a much better solution than dish towels. It absorbs much more water, while cushioning the dishes. The mat can be machine washed, and folds up for easy storage. And it just looks nice.

I tried the mat out with the items that take up too much space in our drainer: bowls, cups, and mugs. The mat fit conveniently on the counter, and the dishes sat securely on the mat while drying. The manufacturer suggests that you allow the mat to fully dry between uses. I wonder if the mat will take on a sour smell, the way wet dish towels tend to do. It will take more uses to determine. If the mat does start to smell, it can be machine washed. I imagine you would not want to use fabric softener on it, however, as that may reduce its absorbency.

So far, I am quite pleased with my Original Dish Drying Mat.

QUICK TIPS: Loop makes it easy to tuck away. Make sure it has room to dry out.

I handwash a lot of dishes (pans, glassware, antiques) and I hate dish drainers. I had purchased a dish drying mat from Target for 9.99, but it got soggy and musty very quickly. I was always having to wash it.

Then I got The Original Dish Drying Mat, and was amazed. It is very absorbent, yet it also dries quickly. It doesn't have the musty smell of my other mat, and the Original Dish Drying mat is half the price!

It's thicker, as well, so I feel safer putting my wine glasses on it. I will be getting another to keep on hand for the "big jobs".

You MUST get one of these, unless you have maid service.

I use this alot. I have 2 and one is under my dish strainer and the other on my sink for extra dishes. They do not get that nasty smell that towels do when they get to wet and they also soak up the water so much better than a towel could. These are amazing and I love these. They come in a variety of colors as well to match your kitchen!

I really like having this mat around. Even though most of us have dishwashers, there’s always a cocktail glass, wooden spoon, or coffee pot that can’t handle the rigors of machine washing. I hand wash a decent number of dishes every night, and end up perching them on my stove or leaving them strewn over a dish towel. It’s not ideal for drying, and it wouldn’t make Martha Stewart very proud. With The Original Dish Drying Mat (yes, I’m going to use its whole name whenever I can), I have a set area for my hand-washed dishes. They dry faster, they’re safely cushioned, and my kitchen doesn’t look like a junkyard. Its pretty cream color won’t last long in my house, but luckily, it’s machine washable!

QUICK TIPS: Great for baby bottle components

I love this product. I have a little girl who has spoons and forks and sippy cups galore. I like to hand wash those items, and usually place them to dry on a paper towel. Now I have this mat, and I will never go without it. I love how eco friendly it is (in my experience, so I am not wasting paper towels) and how I can wash it and hang it up to dry.

When I do dishes, I always just use the dishwasher, but my Husband cannot stand having dishes in the sink. When he does dishes, he loads the dishwasher and then puts a towel on the counter for any left over. When he saw this in my box, he was happy as a clam! I laughed at him for being so excited. Before getting this product, any time I've hand washed dishes I've laid out dish towels on my counter to set them on to air dry. The problem with using this method is that it left water puddles on the counter and it meant that there was one less dish towel for us to use. The Original Dish Drying Mat has a unique, laminated underside. That means no more puddles on my counter!!! Thanks to it's thin layer of foam sandwiched between two layers of high-quality, super-absorbent microfiber, it can hold up to four times it's weight in water. It's also very soft so it won't harm your delicate items, but it's also sturdy enough to be machine washable. Storage is also easy peasy! It folds up neatly to be tucked under the sink or in a drawer and it also has a built in loop for those of you who choose to hang it.This mat is a great addition to my kitchen in both functionality and decor. Overall it is a great product and one that will be sticking around in my kitchen for quite a while.

I really wanted to like this product because the ice of it seemed pretty nifty! A super absorbent mat? Awesome!

The problem I had was that although the utensils sitting on the mat did dry up, the mat itself would remain wet for what felt like whatever. It just never properly dried, and it sat there, soaked. On top of that, it took up valuable counter space (I live in a NY suburb, so the little kitchen counter space I have is very important!).

Overall, I didn't really like the mat. If they came out with a refresh in which the mat dried up more quickly, I'd like to try it.

I can wash a sink full of dishes, put them out on the mat to dry, once I remove the dishes the mat generally takes no more than an hour to dry completely (and that's only if I washed a lot of dishes).

Mine is always completely dry by the time the dishes on it are dry. I use it daily and haven't had any problems with odor or it not drying quickly.

To get rid of the smell or mildew try this : fold it up & tie twine around it to keep it closed. Fill sink with a mix of vinegar and cold water. Soak for about 1 hour. Wash as normal. I do this with dishcloths sometimes and it works great. Another great thing to try is sprinkle baking soda over the whole thing and let it sit overnight. So the baking soda can absorb the odors. Then shake it off and toss in the wash.

After the dishes are dry, I hang it up on a peg that is on my kitchen island. It has a loop at the top. It takes a couple of hours to dry. There are days that I have left it on the counter all day and have not had any problems. I wash it once a week.It holds a lot of water, much more than a dish towel. When I pick it up after doing dishes, the counter is completely dry, unlike with dish towels.

What I did was buy a second one. When my first one is wet , then I hang it by its loop on a peg that is on my kitchen island. While it is drying, I keep the second one on the counter. Rotating them has made it easier for me. You can always toss it in the dryer too for a few minutes.

Here's a BIG TIP: Do NOT put a dryer sheet in the dryer when drying this mat. If you do you can ruin it!

I LOVE this product. We have a plastic/silicone drying rack but because we are in an apartment, it's on the smaller side. That is where this dish mat comes in handy. It gives us double the drying capability and it is actually easier to clean as I just throw it in the washer AND dryer!

This is an amazing product, soaks up all the water, so no standing water to get swampy, simply let it air-dry in between uses, and if it gets funky, just toss it in the washing machine! Plus, it folds up flat for convenient storage, unlike those plastic ones

Seeing as how it's only $5 I believe, I say go for it! My grandmother, for years, has just been using an old dish towel to dry her dishes. You're going to want to wash this once a week (at least) just to make sure it DOES stay clean.

Yes this works great and soaks up all the water if you prefer to have your dishes on a rack you could even just put this mat underneath your old drying mat and it will collect all the water

This product works great, it does not collect water like the plastic mat, instead it absorbs it and you can wash it if you are afraid of mold and bacterial growth. I actually hang it after use and it dries with no problem.

I like using it more than the plastic drying rack. The drying rack keeps things more organizes so I like to put the drying rack on top of this mat but use the mat at the bottom to soak up the water!

It's well worth your money. It's relatively inexpensive even on a tight budget, it's healthier and more economical,and it's easy to store. It's great for small kitchens that don't have much counter space since you can either fold it and store it, or hang it on a hook out of the way when you're not using it. It also holds a lot of dishes. Go get it, you won't regret it

I love this product. There is no water on the counter; it all gets absorbed in the mat. After dishes are finished, I allow it to air dry. Every now and then I throw it in the washer. I would buy this again and again.

Yes, it really is worth the money. I bought a second one ,because I liked the first one so much. They are at Bed Bath & Beyond, and they always have a coupon that is in the paper , magazines, or online for 50% off one item. Then it would only cost $2.50, about the same price as a dish towel. I'm like you, I always think before I spend. I don't like to waste money either. Good for you for being frugal!

Definitely not a waste of money -- if anything, you may even want more than one. If you use a 20% coupon at bed bath and beyond - the product could cost you between $5-$7 depending on the size of the mat itself.

My dishes dry much faster using this mat than they ever did using those plastic things. Depending on the kind of dish drying rack you have, you can slid this in the bottom where the water collects then toss it in the wash once or twice a week.

I'd imagine if you never washed it, it could get a bit dirty but since it's so absorbent, you don't have a puddle of water just sitting there. It's super easy to wash though, I just threw it in the washer and dryer with my regular load!

I think two, the regular and XL. I've only ever seen the XL in Bed, Bath and Beyond and on their website. I've found the regular size everywhere- walmart target and drugstores.
