Jewelmint

Jewelmint
Not really my style
PROS: Cheap way to get jewelry every month
CONS: Style variety is limited
While Jewelmint gives you a style quiz. I've hardly ever seen something I actually like on the site so I don't use it

Iffy
It was so much fun in the beginning. It was a great way to find inspiration and unique pieces. Now it feels a bit stale, and expensive. The quality has declined. Some of the pieces are beautiful. The Audrey earrings are my favorite. But I have not purchased anything in at least a year.

Cheap, iffy subscription
PROS: Can transfer credit between other mint stores
CONS: Cheap looking, sketchy policy
They changed from a regular online store to a subscription service without notifying me. All of a sudden, I had a bunch of $30 charges to my account. They would not refund me anything. So, I used by credit to buy a bunch of crappy cheap looking jewelry.

Hit or Miss
PROS: Trendy
CONS: Quality is hit or miss
QUICK TIPS: Never get a mystery box!
Jewelmint started off amazingly strong with WELL BUILT unique pieces, and then slowly became Claires. I truly miss the first 2 years of the company. Customer service became horrible by the time that I closed my account.

Nice quality
PROS: Lots of Variety
I have a couple of jewelmint pieces that I really love. I ordered on of their mystery boxes and was pleasantly surprised. Just remember to skip the month is you don't want to be billed for that month. They let you forget to skip one time though.

Loved It
PROS: Wide selection, caters to your own personal taste
CONS: Once a piece is gone, it might not come back
in the beginning but I can see I'm not the only one who's disenchanted by Jewelmint. I still buy the occasional piece when there's something I know I can't get from a store near me but having to skip every month when I don't want to buy anything is kind of a hassle. They still have great deals every now and then and I'd have no trouble picking a piece I want every month, but I just don't think that its worth it anymore. I still love them but I probably won't recommend it to anyone.

hit or miss
CONS: customer service can be a pain
It is hit or miss with this site. I have some stuff that I love and everyone asks me where I got it from. Then I have some stuff that is garbage and I never wear. If you get them onsale it is worth the price but it is not worth it to pay full price.

Jewelmint has some cute pieces but most aren't worth the price unless you get them on a 2 for 1 deal or something like that. Also, the quality is not all that for what they are claiming are $98+ valuee. There are better deals out there for better quality

Ok
I own a few of their jewelry, but even so, the price for the items is a bit more than I would like; I feel like you can find similar items at F21. The quality IS better than F21 though, so I give them that. What I absolutely do not like is the membership and month-to-month payment. It's quite a hassle to have to call/email to get each month skipped. They're being tricky.

Is this a month to month subscription where you can cancel and not have to pay ever again or is it something different?
1 Answer

LAURA V. Answer :
Yes, it is a month to month subscription and you can cancel or skip a month between the 1st and 5th of each month if you choose. If you do not cancel or skip your credit card will be charged $29.99 each month.

Is it worth the money?

MEL D. Answer :
Sometimes it is worth the money for the quality or unique styles. Other times you get crap and the pictures did not show that till you got it in the mail.

SHREYA T. Answer :
in my oppinion the jewelery is a little overpriced when not on sale, but if you buy it during a sale (quite often) they are well priced and the quality is alao amazing and during sales you can save a lot of money so that you are able to buy more jewelery, and you can usually save 50 % or more durring sales

HANA S. Answer :
I don't think it is worth it to buy a piece full price. However, they always have promotions and sales running + combined with free shipping in the continental US it's a steal! Their promotions are generally between 30-70% off and the quality of the jewelry is great for the price as well (: They also have 'mystery bags' (or boxes) which have multiple pieces in them for the price of one, so if you like a good surprise you may love those!

I dont wanna sound really cheap but does anybody else think like their prices are a lil high for the quality?

HANA S. Answer :
Their prices are definitely a bit high but they tend to run great promotions (hello, 30-70% off!) so I'd take advantage of those (:

I personally do think they are a bit more than what i like to spend on accessories but they often put promotions every month so that you can buy their pieces almost half off. And their pieces are all so unique and great quality that when you get a good promo its soo worth it :] I love all my pieces

I really think they are completely overpriced. i feel like before they had pieces that were worth the money, but now they do these "grab bags" probably to get rid of stuff no one wants

How often does jewelmint have mystery boxes?

MELISSA H. Answer :
I'm not sure how often, but be careful - anything you buy on the site, including the mystery boxes enrolls you in their monthly subscription.

CHLOE T. Answer :
You'll get an email promoting a mystery box about once a month. The deals change, though -- sometimes, there's 5 pieces guaranteed, sometimes there's a few pieces plus an additional gift, etc. They seem to run out of stock quickly, so I'd snatch one up if you're interested in the offer.

A showcase is selected for you based on a quiz you take. It's pretty neat! Especially when they offer you TWO pieces for the 29.99!

ZADRY F. Answer :
if you don't find a piece you love that month, you can save your credit for future months. I would definitely advise to visit your showroom once you receive your reminder email because they will charge your card if you don't opt out for the month.

Is it worth to get Mystery Box?
5 Answers

OLIVYAH P. Answer :
It's a total gamble, because it's not just about the value of the items - but also whether or not you like what you get. Personally I think it's a little rigged. We'll see great boxings on med-big youtube channels, and then complaints on message boards...

Is the jewelry mainly for younger women or all ages?
1 Answer

OLIVYAH P. Answer :
I would say mostly all ages, but it also depends on your taste. You do get to create a profile and they will select what they think would match you best. They're fashion pieces, but not high quality. I feel they have styles that would suit a wide ranges of ages, but if you don't see something you like, you can always choose to skip.

I have bought several pieces from them and I feel like it is actually pretty nice quality! I gotten bracelets, rings, and a necklace from them and they have all felt like they were made nicely and of a substantial material! I will say that some of their pieces look a little over priced for what they are but if you can find sets of things then it is an even bigger bargain!
