I was always adamant that if I ever drank Guinness, it would have to be in Ireland, and a few years ago, I finally had the opportunity to fulfill that promise at the Guinness factory. The experience was nothing short of memorable.
First impressions of Guinness left me intrigued. It's a dark ale with a very frothy head, presenting a distinctive look that sets it apart from regular beers. Despite not being a big beer drinker, I found the taste quite pleasant. It has a depth and richness that isn't common in most beers, which made the experience interesting.
One thing that stood out was how heavy Guinness feels. It's almost like drinking a meal, with its thick and hearty consistency. While I can't say I fell in love with it, the flavor was not bad at all. It's certainly different and has a unique charm that I appreciated.
If I were to drink Guinness again, it would definitely be in smaller portions. The robust and filling nature of the drink makes it something best enjoyed in moderation for me. All in all, my experience at the Guinness factory was enjoyable and provided a newfound respect for this iconic Irish beverage.
Guinness beer is a great all around brand for beer. It’s a classic around St. Patrick’s day and can be fashionable. Most of their beers are darker blended with a Smokey wheat/yeast scent. Great beer for your buck.
Guinness Draught 0% alcohol. My partner loves a pint of Guinness but is trying to find alcohol free alternatives.
He started drinking this instead and it apparently tastes almost exactly the same! We’ll definitely be buying this again!
