PROS:Easy CONS: Tasteless, weak, yucky QUICK TIPS: Make your own. Weak broth, sad limp tasteless noodles. The only thing that kept me from rating this an F is because kids seem to love it. I did, too. But today, no way man!!
QUICK TIPS:This is definitely one for the sick moments in life. It is also a family meal addition to our noodles. Love adding Noodles & Cream of Chicken together. It was my childhood favorite as a kid! <3 great family memories created over Campbell's Soup!
QUICK TIPS:I do think overall there are better chicken noodle soups out on the market but this is still the one I crave the most when I am not feeling well. And skip the low sodium if you want any flavor.
PROS:quick, easy to prepare CONS: can be salty QUICK TIPS: serve with a sandwich! I'm always on the fence over soup. It's just not my normal goto for me personally. For my husband and son they love it. Now everyone is different, but we add some water and it's quick and easy. The taste isn't bad. Can usually find good deals in the market sales and with coupons!
QUICK TIPS:This soup can is actually 2 servings, not one, You're ingesting over 50% of your daily intake of salt on a little can of soup. How can this get an A? GET OUT OF WALMART PEOPLE GO TO A REAL STORE WITH REAL FOOD
QUICK TIPS:This is my favorite type of soup. Not only that, but besides homemade this is the best type of canned chicken noodle soup! Wouldn't buy any other brand. Plus its great when sick or just hungry for Chicken Noodle soup!!
I Love the broth and the noodles in the soup, but can't stomach trying to eat the perfectly squared chicken..anyone else? Just doesn't look natural to me
MICHELLE L.Answer : I always leave the "square" chicken! I think they must be able to make about 10,000 cans from one chicken - 'cause there's only ever about 3 pieces per can!
KATHRYN H.Answer : I agree, I eventually started making broth from bullion cubes and making homemade noodles (which are thicker and taste better -http://localfoods.about.com/od/basics/r/eggnoodles.htm )
BRIANNE L.Answer : I agree, but luckily they don't put much in there anyways ;) It is mostly broth with noodles.
AMBER B.Answer : I like to combine this soup with another chicken noodle. Aim for one that has some carrot or celery bits. the two merge into something good. Or mix with double noodle.
SHAUNA A.Answer : I had some leftover cubed chicken from last night's dinner and threw it into the soup. It makes it heartier. You can also cook up some letter shaped pasta and throw it in for dimension, or some barley for a healthy component. However, to be honest, when I want a fancier soup, I just mix two different kinds together. It always turns out great for me!
Try adding cream of mushroom, minestrone, or alphabet vegetable soup.
