QUICK TIPS:I loved having Campbells as a kid, but as I grew older I started to notice that the taste of the soup is very concentrated. I started to dislike the taste and overall stopped purchasing them.
PROS:Cheap and good for when your sick CONS: to salty and not enough noodles QUICK TIPS: Add Water I always have a can in my house just in case we get sick. And in the winter time when we are out playing in the snow i make Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup to warm us up. Taste great and is very cheap to buy
PROS:Everything! CONS: Not enough in a can :) QUICK TIPS: Only use half a can of water, much more flavorful if not watered down Absolutely love Campbell Brand items...specifically their Chicken Noodle Soup! Always great flavor. Salty! Love the noodles, chicken and broth! Perfect in every way to me! My whole family likes this soup on cold days or especially when sick with the cold :)
PROS:a classic, nice looking packaging CONS: have to mix with water, chicken pieces aren't good, feels oilier than other canned soups QUICK TIPS:I don't mind the broth and noodles in the soup, but I really don't like the chicken pieces in it. I think the texture of the chicken is strange and just has a very manufactured feel to it. If I do eat this soup I usually take out the chicken pieces, but that doesn't leave any protein in the meal. I also don't like the oily texture the broth leaves in my mouth.
QUICK TIPS:I love this especially when I'm sick. Nothing better than grilled cheese and some Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup to make you feel better. I've tried other brands but I don't like the chunky ones. This is my go to.
PROS:good when your sick CONS: Not healthy QUICK TIPS: ADD WATER I love this when I am sick. My fiancé told me when he had it as a kid it was too salty. I gave it too him the way I eat it buy ADDING WATER. It taste so much better that way. Not the most healthy thing but the best when you feel sick.
Do you have any fun recipes that make this soup more complex and healthier for kiddos?
AMBER B.Answer : I like to combine this soup with another chicken noodle. Aim for one that has some carrot or celery bits. the two merge into something good. Or mix with double noodle.
SHAUNA A.Answer : I had some leftover cubed chicken from last night's dinner and threw it into the soup. It makes it heartier. You can also cook up some letter shaped pasta and throw it in for dimension, or some barley for a healthy component. However, to be honest, when I want a fancier soup, I just mix two different kinds together. It always turns out great for me!
Try adding cream of mushroom, minestrone, or alphabet vegetable soup.
