Bark Box Monthly Pet Subscription

Bark Box Monthly Pet Subscription
Best purchase!
PROS: Average prices, made in USA, durable, multiple options.
CONS: You do not get to choose what is in your box.
QUICK TIPS: Search coupon codes!!!!!
I have been getting this subscription for the last 4-5 months and my dogs get extremely happy seeing the box. Everything is made in the USA, grain free, no fillers, durable toys, etc. It is a really good purchase. Sometimes Homegoods will have some of the things which works out good if your dog really likes something!

Although the box is pricey, The products are worth it! It gives me a little more intel on things im not sure if I want to buy or not for my labs. There is always discounts on boxes through the website and sometimes through the wrapp app. My labs love the toys they send too! Its a great buy, try it out!

LOVE Barkbox
PROS: fun toys, healthy treats
CONS: need smaller dog box
I love BarkBox!!! They have an option for all dog sizes, although I wish they had an option for a smaller size, as my dog is on the smaller end of the smallest size. He loves all of the goodies we get every month. The items are original and fun. I love that they are healthy too. Fun toys, interesting and this program is the best!

Good idea, too pricey
PROS: Good idea
CONS: Way too expensive
QUICK TIPS: Buy your own and save time and money
I like the idea of having little treats sent to your house for your dog, especially if you are a busy person and love to spoil your pooch. It is way over priced, however. As a much more affordable alternative, you can buy a lot of toys and treats, perhaps on sale, at one time and simply store them and pull out a few at a time at the beginning of every month. This way, you save money, time, and your dog can still get a surprise treat on a regular basis. Also, this way you can choose toys and treats that you know your particular dog will like and are appropriate for him/her.

Great Idea - But Pricy
PROS: Great selection of products, full sizes
CONS: Too many treats, pricy
QUICK TIPS: They seem to run coupon codes regularly for a discount on your first box to try it out.
I received one bark box through a link. While I thought it was an awesome idea, 2 of the products I have still not used (bully flakes and a dog soup). The treats were fun for my dog, but there were so many that months later I am still trying to use them up. However, she did love her toy. If the price goes down to around $10 (even if they were to offer a more limited box with a toy and 1 bag of treats every month), I would do it again. But for almost $20 a box right now, I wouldn't do it because it takes over a month to use everything up.

Is the BarkBox worth the amount of money that it costs. I have two small dogs. What kind of products come in this box monthly.

How pricey is it? I want to get this for my dogs! (I have 4) but I'm just a teenager, and I want to know how much I need to save up to be able to purchase this, and if it's worth it. :)

It seems a little expensive. Does anyone know of any coupons offered to help with the monthly expense?

ALI H. Answer :
Hi Alisha, it seems expensive, but the amount and value that you receive in each box far surpasses how much you're actually spending on it. It's very worth it.

I love the BarkPost which is the website for this box. However, I haven't ordered the box yet. My dog destroys her toys with ease, but is a sucker for treats (she's a Siberian Husky). Would it be worth the money? Or should I stick with picking her toys and treats out on my own?

ALI H. Answer :
The only 1 box that we ever ordered came with an awesome hard toy. My dog is able to destroy ANY soft toy and most hard toys, but it's been over a year and the toy is still in pieces! He loves it. Our box came with mostly food items.

This box is definitely worth the money! My dogs haven't destroyed a toy yet, except one they tore a hole in the head from tugging on it but they still play with it haha. Really high quality, not cheapo toys that rip apart in two seconds

I bought a box for my daughter who has a husky/sheppard mix and a lab/pit mix and she loved it. Try buying 1 box first and if you like it you can subscribe to more. They are definitely worth the money.

The best option is to go with the 6 month period where you will pay $19/month. The only downer is you have to pay that up front

There are a lot of dog subscription boxes out there (I know--I have a subscription box review blog). Is this the best deal for the money? They certainly advertise a lot on Facebook...

MICHELLE S. Answer :
I think it is a good deal if you can find a groupon for it, or do one of the long term commitments. You get 2-3 full size bags of treats in each box, and the toys that come in there are great. I found that I spent around $30-$40 on treats when I went to the pet store, which was about every 2 month. I'm spending the same on the barkbox, but the treats are much better quality then I was buying.

Most definitely this is the best deal for your money! I spend $19 a month for a 6 month subscription for a Small dog (<25lbs). I believe you get way more then $19 worth of products in each box. Usually there are 1 or 2 kinds of treats, a chew/bone, a toy, or some form of dog care/health product. Not only does it make you aware of brands you would never find otherwise, but they also provide information about each and every item in the boxes as well as websites/company contact info in case you decide to buy more of the product. Which I have done many times now. I will be resubscribing for another 6 months once my current subscription runs out.

Yes. This is absolutely the best deal on a pet box. I have never gotten a "sample size" product in my box and I've been a subscriber for almost a year. My dogs LOVE this coming every month. The treats are often high quality items you'd only be able to find in a boutique pet store or other high end retailer. I've never gotten grocery-store brand treats or toys even once. What i DO get is at least one - high quality - toy, many of which have been extremely unique (one a small raspberry toy with a hole for stuffing treats that remains a MAJOR fave of my two small dogs, another time a velvety "ball" with cone shaped protrusions - super soft and cuddly but with a really cool erratic bounce, and other unique toys). Almost everything I've gotten in the box is a product I've never heard of before. Great value. Great curating. You won't be disappointed. :)

Is this really worth the money? I am debating getting this for my puppy, but how worth is it getting like this vs picking up a few things at the store myself?

CORINNA C. Answer :
I think its worth trying one box (they have codes for a discount off the first box), then decide. I tried one, but it had too many treats for my dog (9lb shih-poo), and I still haven't used the bully flakes and dog soup mixture that came with it - I'd rather find products at the store for her that I know she will like. However, she LOVED the toy. So I'd say its worth trying!

ALYSSA B. Answer :
I don't think it is worth it. I bought a 3 month groupon to try it out. The full price is way to expensive. The items are great and it is nice that they are natural and organic, but I feel like I could buy these products for about half the price of the box.

Is this box worth the money and do you get stuff that your dog actually likes?

ALICIA R. Answer :
I think the box is worth the money! My dogs love the different treats they get every month and the chew bones. Some toys they didn't care for but I'll sanitize them and bring them to a shelter that needs it :)

i use to get this for my dog and i think its an awesome way to try out new things for your dog to see what they like without having to go and buy a milling different things for them to try. This gets sent right to your house and it convenient. Its exciting to get and open right in front of your dog because they know it is for them which makes it that more exciting to receive each month. Try it out you don't have to commit to a year at a time at all and if you don't like it you can always cancel.

I tried the 6-month subscription and I think it's great! Definitely worth the money! There were a couple of treats that my dog wasn't crazy about, but he ate them anyway! He also loved the toys. Some were more durable than others, but hey you're getting something new each month, so those that didn't survive are replaced!
