I received the Color Radiance line about a week ago and have been using it daily. I'm not totally convinced this line is made for salon-treated hair. It's definitely felt drier and more brittle than using my salon products. Can't say if it's actually protected my color since it was already pretty faded before I started using the line. But I'm getting my color done tomorrow and will continue to try this line to see if it makes any difference. Will update this review with my findings if significant!
I just bought this eyeliner and I'm very happy with the results so far. Mac pencils tend to feel a bit chalky but I think they changed the formulation recently because this is so smooth. I use it to line my waterline and lower lashes, then smoke it out with a more neutral beige or if I'm feeling dramatic a more red toned brown like Cocoa Bear by Makeup geek. I can't wait to try more pencils in this line.
I just bought Mac lip liner pencil in Soar and I can't believe how much I love this neutral pink shade. it's almost close to a nude on me with the perfect amount of pink to add a of a blush to your kisser. it would also look nice on darker skin tones as well. the texture is super matte and lux. I layer a nude lipstick on top or clear gloss to amp up the shine. as seen on pretty much ever beauty blogger, ever 😊 actually lives up to the hype!
I swear by Mac Fix+, a quick spray will set all your hard work for well over 8 hours. I also use it dampen my beauty blender before blending out concealer and foundation. My base stays all day, even when sweating and touching my face.
OMG Sigma is the bestttttt! People say they are esspensive, but literally no other brushes come close to their quality at that price point. The next best brush you can get would be a Mac or Hakuhodo and those are price-y! Sigma provides great value for professional quality tools - a lifesaver for MUA's and students who can't afford the super high end stuff yet but still want great results. If you find them over priced I would recommend checking out Morphe or Elf tools - they are much cheaper but you won't get the same quality, so they are a good place to get a real comparison of value.
Ugh. I can't even. Every time I'm in Sephora I drool over these blushes and highlighters like a kid in the candy store. they are simply too perfect -so pretty, so creamy, so easy to apply and blend. Such color payoff and pigmentation and have the most lustrous sheen without being obviously shimmering or glittery. The closest thing to a true sun-baked glow, these look gorgeous on tanned skin in the summer!
I bought this instead of splurging on the Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette and I'm kind of wishing I hadn't! It doesn't have anywhere near the same payoff or creamyness - even when I use it with Fix Plus or a setting spray i still have to work very hard to get a decent highlight going. It also applies very cool for a yellow-tone highlight.
Beauty bloggers have been touting this as a dupe for Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer so I picked it up to try out for concealing and brightening my under eye. I was not very impressed with it compared to Nars. However, it did work okay for spot correcting blemishes so I will probably just use it for those odd spots and skip it for under eye.
I love Purdy's Chocolates! My faves are their Hedgehogs and English Toffee, as well as their dark chocolate bars with cocoa nibs. mmm! Their website has tons of great recipes to make with their chocolate too.
