Great foundation! I tend to stay away from a lot of stick foundations as someone who is oily because most of them are catered to normal-dry skin. So as soon as I heard this one was catered to more of an oily-combination skin, I was immediately drawn to it (however I believe norvina/Claudia did mention on snapchat that it is NOT oil controlling). At 25 dollars, it is very affordable, but do keep in mind that price has a drawback: there's not as much product as your typical foundation or foundation stick. I also loved that there is such a wide variety of shades and undertones. I used my MUFE mattifying primer (which is my A1 for my oily girls out there) and set my face w powder and spray like any other day and this held up great. I wore this to a wedding and after a pretty warm day and dancing all night, I wasn't an oil slick. I also love that they can be used as contour sticks as well. All in all, great foundation, esp for the price.
This is my go-to foundation in the colder weather months! In the summer, my skin is a bit too oily for this, but in the colder months it's perfect. It's such a beautiful natural finish and it doesn't feel heavy on the skin whatsoever.
I'm already pretty medium so I don't like using typical self tanners but I love this one since it's a nice gradual tan. It does a take a couple applications to start seeing results, but in the mean time, it gives a nice beautiful glow to the skin.
The ardell Demi wispies are my favourite natural lashes! For me, it's a very minimal look bc I don't have a lot of lashes naturally, but it can really add some volume to those that have great lashes already.
I wanted to like this SO bad and I think that's why I was so disappointed by it.
First things first, I do like that it has a skincare aspect to it. I didn't try it for long enough to really see any results or difference to my skin because of that, but it's nice to have.
The consistency is more serum-like.. The only way I can really describe this is if you've tried the Nivea Men's Post Shave Balm as a primer. The consistency and application is almost identical.
As far as keeping me matte? Nope. Not even close. I integrated this into my routine which already includes other mattifying products and despite this, I was still oily. I really rely on primer to help keep the oil at bay since its first product on the skin and everything afterwards (matte foundation, setting powder, etc) are backup. I work in a pretty fast-paced environment, but by no means am I being active, yet at the end of the day, I looked like I ran 10 miles.
When I purchased this, I was very excited bc I had read some great things. Unfortunately this doesn't do much for me. I generously gave it two stars bc when first applied, it does smooth out my pores and makeup looks great, but it most certainly does not last nor does it keep my oil at bay. I've been used every matte product together w this primer and I still ended up oily. Pretty disappointed by this.
I'm obsessed with this cleansing oil! Easily one of my favorite oils, it takes my makeup off with ease, no tugging or pulling and it doesn't leave that gross greasy feeling afterwards. Of course, this is step 1 in my skincare routine and I still use an actual cleanser after this so I love that it's gentle enough to do that.
I've been using the Neutrogena makeup remover wipes for years and I love all of them, but these specific wipes are my one of my top favorites out of all of them! I love that they're mostly natural and just like all the other neutrogena wipes, they take off my makeup with ease. I will say that sometimes the area around the little crevices of my nose can get dry and a little irritated and these can make sting a little in that area. It's only been happening lately since it's been winter and it's probably bc of the drier weather so that explains the missing star. Other than that, I've liked these a lot.
