Review of: Maybelline New York The Colossal Volum' Express Mascara

Worth the Price

PROS: Super volume!

This was one of the first mascaras I used by Maybelline and I loved it when I first tried it! It really makes my lashes voluminous and big, which I love! The only downsides are the color and it tends to flake a bit (not too much though). When it dries, even if it is the black formula, it has like a gray tint to it, which isn't a problem for everyone.

Verdict: Try it!

QUICK TIPS: Not the best for sensitive lips

For some reason, these products are harsh on my lips and make them peel and bleed! I love how they smell but they have like an oily feel to them which I do not love.

PROS: Nice on lots of skin tones

This is just a high-end average blush. It is a great color, but I feel like the pigmentation is more glittery than actually colorful. I more often reach for ELF or NYX blushes.

This perfume smells SO good! Every time I wear it I cannot stop smelling my wrists! It lasts quite a while, and is fresh enough to wear during the day but sophisticated enough to wear at night.

PROS: Best I've tried, packaging is pretty good

I've tried a few other primers, such as the Stay Don't Stray and the ELF one and even using the Maybelline Color Tattoos as my base, but this beats them all! It's a little pricey, but it does last a long time and is totally worth it! The packaging is functional, though I haven't gotten to the very end but tubes are very functional.

Awesome for shorter days

PROS: Super Pigmented, Great Price

This concealer has so much pigmentation and is so easy to blend and really covers blemishes and redness well! Plus it is so cheap! The one thing I don't like is the staying power, it tends to get flaky on my dry skin and eventually disappears, but on short days/nights its awesome! I am sure on less dry skin it probably works better!

PROS: Versatile, compact, pigmented

These palettes really have an array of colors that you can use to make simple daily looks to dramatic nighttime looks! There is only a bit of fallout, like most other eyeshadows, but the formula is great, pigmented and easy to blend! If I had to repurchase any eyeshadows, it would definitely be these! The best part is it is so compact. If you think about how many eyeshadows you are able to carry around and how many different looks you can do with them, really these are all you need when traveling!

More like a sunscreen

QUICK TIPS: Just skip it

This product provides NO coverage, has NO amazing benefits like REAL BB creams, and you have to reapply every two hours (just like sunscreen).. Not the best product. It smells and feels just like sunscreen and makes me look oily even though I have very dry skin.

PROS: Very lengthening and dark

QUICK TIPS: Use with along with a volumizing mascara

I really did not like this product when I first tried it, it was way to wet and didn't really allow me to build. However, I LOVE using this mascara with another one, something that is very volumizing is the best. It works great with the Covergirl Lashblast ones or the Buxom lash one. It adds lots of length!!

These bars are so good and have lots of fiber! I am on a high-fiber diet to aid my digestive system, and these are an easy and delicious way to rack up on that fiber, plus they are super filling! My only complaint is they are pretty high in sugar if you are worried about that kind of thing.

Diet coke uses a type of sugar substitute that is addicting and bad for you! I mean, its good if you are diabetic and cannot handle the sugar in regular sodas, but this is not a good option if you are trying to be healthy (and lose weight). I would recommend switching to water or tea if you're trying to watch calorie intake.

I do prefer the original Oreos or the mint chocolate ones over the double stuff, but all Oreos are delicious and irresistible! I could eat a whole pack by myself if I'm not careful. They are great with warm milk in the winter too! You can never go wrong if you want to add a few Oreos to satisfy your sweet tooth when packing your lunch!

PROS: Pretty, quick, easy to apply, last

They don't look very natural but they do last a long time. They come in lots of designs and colors which I like, but if you are going for a natural look I would try something else. Also, if you have rather large nail beds they may not fit. They aren't very long so you may have to file down your nails also. If they came in bigger/longer sizes I would like them a lot more.

I love using my George Foreman grill! It makes it so fast and easy, the only complaints I have is that when grilling chicken it cooks unevenly because of the ridges it has... but it still works out I just end up with a little bit of extra crispy areas

These are amazing! Even my boyfriend said they were the best chips he has ever had and he didn't even now they were healthier than regular chips! The best ones are the barbecue ones, but the sour cream and onion ones are really good too!
