Basquiat's my favorite visual artist. So when Urban Decay launched it's new Basquiat collection, I had to gift myself a palette. Even though both palettes are gorgeous, I chose the more vibrant one, cause I already have tons of neutral shadows. The packaging is sublime! And thanks to UD for the little hook behind the palette. Yes, you can hang it on your wall! The colors are really pretty. The shadows are a tiny bit powdery, but you can easily use them. They're super pigmented and blend well. The brush is very well made and has 2 sides. With it, you can apply the shadow on your lid or use it as liner. The possibilities are endless! The only thing I don't like is the fallouts. But it's not a big deal if you do your face makeup after your eyes. A really good buy that will last me forever!
I discovered the brand ColourPop by watching videos from many beauty YouTubers from the USA. Cause I heard so many good things about ColourPop products from bloggers and YouTubers, I wanted to try them, for sure! But it wasn't possible at first to shop on the brand's website from Canada.
A few months ago, that changed. YEAH!!! :-) So I bought many shadows, as well as a lip liner and a couple of Lippies.
The colors of the Super Shock shadows are beyond this world! So gorgeous and unique! They're very pigmented, which I love.
However, you have to be aware that you can't really apply the ColourPop shadows like you'd do with regular ones. Their texture is very special, somewhere between a pressed powder and a mousse. It can make them a lil more difficult to blend. And for a maximum impact, you must pat them on your lids, like you'd do with a pigment.
Try them! At that price, it's really not a big risk. ;-)
I liked that conditionner. Just a small amount of this product leaved my hair soft, healthy, easy to style, without frizz. Be careful not to use too much and to rinse it well! Otherwise, your hair can lose some volume and look "dirty" after 2 days.
I really liked that shampoo. With just a small amount, you get a rich lather and your hair is squeaky-clean. No need to do a second shampoo. Used with the conditionner, this shampoo leaved my hair soft, healthy, easy to style, without frizz.
I've been purchasing L'Oréal hair products for 20 years! They're super easy to find at pretty much all drugstores and supermarkets where I live, in Montreal. And they give amazing results for only a few bucks! So I was really happy to try those 3 Color Radiance products sent by Influenster and L'Oréal Paris Canada.
You know the feeling when you just had your color done at the salon and your hair is super shiny, looks healthy and has amazing body? Like everybody, I wish that could last, and last, and last... till my next appointment. Unfortunely, it's not that magical.
I have thick short hair and I have them colored dark brown at the salon. I need products that will prevent my color from fading or looking dull. And the Color Radiance line met all my expectations! Even if I use the products every 3 days, my hair stays shiny and keeps its volume and body till the next shampoo. It looks and feels healthy, even after just one use.
L'Oréal Paris, you did it again! I'm totally seduced by Color Radiance!
A staple in my pantry, this soup is tasteful, not like most can products. I love squash, so, obviously, this one is my favorite Campbell's Gourmet Bisque. It comes handy when I'm too lazy to prepare a healthy lunch for work, when I'm overbooked or on the cold Winter days (I live in Montreal, you know...).
I have this lipstick in the shade Cruella, an AMAZING red! Super long lasting, but a little drying for my lips. It doesn't really bother me, 'cause the color is so rich and the finish is really matte, not like many other "matte" lipsticks. I just don't apply it many days in a row, especially in the Winter. And 'cause it's a pencil, you don't need to put a lip liner and a brush in your bag. That's a big plus!
I love that lipstick! It's creamy, it doesn't dry lips, it's long lasting... And 'cause it's a big pencil, you don't need lipliner. You can use the product to line AND fill your lips. And what about the color! So unique! It looks like a dark brown at first. But when you look closer, it's more of a black with burgundy specs in it. At that super affordable price, it's hard to not buy multiple colors.
