Okay, so I actually haven't even tried the wine I got from Winc yet, but they still get 5 stars. Why? Because I got a free box coupon from a friend a few months ago, and had been saving the wines for summer. Summer came, and I unexpectedly had to leave town for several months. While I was gone my home was robbed, and all the wine (and some other things) was stolen. I decided to go out on a limb and see if Winc would replace my selections since I wanted to try them before buying another box, and they did! Amazing customer service.
I'm so torn on FabFitFun's VIP box. I LOVE the products. All of them. I've never been disappointed with what I received, but after I upgraded to VIP something weird happened. They didn't really communicate the dates that I could make my selections. They'd send *one* email giving you a heads up, but the dates were never consistent and if you missed the email you were just stuck with whatever they sent you. The whole point of VIP was to be able to make selections. I tried to communicate this to them and they seemed unwilling to change how they communicate selection dates. I had VIP for a year and NEVER got to make selections because I always missed the email, even when I was obsessively checking for it. You get 10 emails about "add ons" but only ONE telling you to make your selections, and the amount of time you have to do this is pretty minuscule. That said, they're customer service is very helpful and when I finally emailed them to complain that I had missed the selection date, they sent me the products I would have chosen after the fact. Unfortunately, I still had to cancel since I don't want to risk missing the date again and there's no way I'd ever ask them to retroactively edit my box again. If they get better about communicating I'd happily sign up again.
Does this product even need a review? It's the only cleaner I've used on hardwood floors in my life and I see no reason to change. It smells good, it's affordable, and it works. My current home (rental) has 100 year old wood floors and this product is gentle enough to keep them clean without damaging them.
Oh my god. So, I got this scent free with a coupon because I was just too curious to know what "radish" would smell like, and it. Is. Amazing. It doesn't smell like radishes, but it does have a subtle vegetal scent that I find amazing. I'm a big fan.
I loooooove the scent of this detergent, and the fact that you use so little per load is great. I like that it's all natural and non-irritating, though I think it's probably a bit pricier than it needs to be. I'll still buy it for now, but I may eventually see what I can get for a better price considering how much laundry I do at home.
I very rarely straighten my hair, and even when I do I'm never going for a pin-straight look (I aim more for smoothness with a loose wave). This flat iron does the trick, though. I either hand comb my hair while blowdrying or dry using the Infiniti by Conair Pro Spin Air Rotating Styler and then touch up with the iron.
I used to use this daily, and I don't know why I stopped. I love it! It's perfect for low maintenance beach waves/curls if you aren't looking for definition. Recently I've been wearing more defined curls using Miss Jessie's Coily Custard - 8.5 oz , but I think I'm going to pick up some more of this spray for easy breezy summertime waves.
Okay, so, this stuff does work. It smells amazing, it absorbs oil, and it really does help me space out my washes. That said, it's a pain to use with thick curly hair. You can't brush it through, so you need to basically rub your scalp with your fingers to get the white color to dissipate. Still gets 4 stars due to the fact that I can't find anything remotely comparable for the price, and for the amount of dry shampoo I use it just doesn't make sense to splurge on another brand.
