Review for Etsy - 2 months ago
This is a great site to look for unique gifts. Majority of items are handmade, bespoke, or can be personalised, which adds a touch of quality. Almost everything is produced and packaged with so much care! Unlike online marketplaces like eBay, Etsy also has a very friendly community. I am so rarely disappointed when I make a purchase on this site. There are one or two niggling flaws (lack of support/intervention when it comes to unethical/unreasonable reviews, lack of read receipt within the message system, etc.) which is why I haven’t given it five stars. However, these are issues I have encountered as a seller, and not as a buyer. On the whole, I’d say Etsy is still my top go-to place when I need to get presents, or a treat for myself!
My stretch marks did eventually fade years later, but that was down to time, and not this product. There was basically hardly any progress while I was using it, though it was quite moisturising so it probably helped with the healing process. Fortunately, it’s very cheap so I didn’t really lose much.
Review for Apple iPhone 6 - 3 months ago
I'd like to clarify from the start that I am not a fan of Apple products though I work on a Mac, so no brand bias here. As a gamer, I prefer Windows and have found that Android tablets function better than iPads. That said, the iOS interface does work best on a smart phone, and that's the main reason I bought this. I have never regretted it, and it is one of my favourite devices. Yes, it has its flaws, but no phone is perfect. Granted there are other phones out there with cameras of far superior quality...However, the iPhone's is good enough for what I want, and it will only get better when I upgrade. I also believe there are far better apps for iPhones than compared to Android. Plus, Siri belts out Bohemian Rhapsody when it's been told you've seen a little silhouetto of a man...Really can't beat that!
Review for Nutella Hazelnut Spread - 3 months ago
I believe I join the ranks of many when I say I simply cannot do without Nutella Hazelnut Spread in my life! I put it on toast, use it when baking (e.g. Nutella Rolls with Jus-Rol puff pastry sheet as a cheat ingredient) or making desserts (e.g. Nutella Mousse), and when I need a quick fix, grab a spoon and just eat it out of the jar...mmm...pure unadulterated joy!

Review for Aldi - 4 months ago
I normally do my shopping in more than one supermarket as none of them will sell everything I need. I like Aldi because it's got great prices, and is very good value for money. Many items they sell may not be branded, but are just as good as the big names. However, unlike other stores (like Tesco, Morrisons, etc), Aldi's stock changes quite often, so there are times when shoppers can end up feeling frustrated because what they bought a previous week may not be available again.

Review for Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil, Jet Black 0.04 oz - 4 months, 2 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
Can't really beat kohl as eyeliner...There's a reason it's been used as a cosmetic by so many cultures for centuries. The  Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil  is easy to apply, looks good, and lasts ages. It is also suitable for contact lens wearers like me. Most of the time, I don't even bother with eyeshadow since this alone on my eyes, with a bit of mascara, works wonders. I can even blend it to get that 'smokey eye' effect. Although it's not waterproof, it won't smudge unless you rub your eyes. If you have greasy skin, you might want to use a primer beforehand as it can go south after a few hours (hence not the full five stars), but on the whole, it doesn't require much touching up. As with most of Rimmel's products, the price of this eye pencil is reasonable. Actually, it's more than that...It's actually quite cheap (only a coupla quid or so). I don't see myself switching to another type of eyeliner anytime soon. Definitely a thumbs-up!

Review for Dreamies Cat Treats 60G Cheese - 5 months ago
The whole Dreamies range tends to go down a treat with my cat. She comes running as soon as she hears the packet rustling. The only reason I haven't given this 5 stars is because I have noticed that when given a choice she would prefer the chicken and/or salmon flavours.
Review for Kao Biore Uv Perfect Face Body Milk Sunscreen Spf50+ Pa+++ Long-lasting - 6 months, 2 weeks ago
Beauty Junkie Expert Level 1
At long last, I have found my HG sunscreen! It's very easy to apply, smells pleasant, and keeps my face silky and matt...There is also no need to wait for it to work. I generally just slap it over my face and neck after moisturising and I'm done. Since photoaging is the biggest external factor for patchy saggy skin, I have never (from the age of 26) left home without broad spectrum (both SPF and PA as high as possible) coverage, even in winter, and this one ticks all the right boxes. It has been incredibly difficult to get a reasonably priced sunscreen that doesn't leave a sticky shiny mess on my face, making it bright enough to trigger photosynthesis with no help from the sun...Everyone would need to wear shades just to be near me.

The only other sunscreen I have tried that works in a similar way is Clarins UV Plus Multi-Protection, but that's often over £20 for a tiny bottle...way too expensive. Fortunately, this Bioré sunscreen is a mere fraction of the price, and a little does go a long way. As I have sensitive combination skin that is quite prone to breakouts, 'Perfect Milk' also has the added advantage of somehow having a soothing effect, and evening out my skin tone. How well does it work as sunscreen? Well, my skin type is quite resistant to burning, but I'm just a month shy of 40, and still frequently getting ID'ed for buying alcohol at supermarkets. Job done, I'd say! Kao Biore UV PERFECT Milk SPF50+ PA++++ 40ml 2015

Review for Ben & Jerry's® Ice Cream Cookie Dough - 6 months, 3 weeks ago
Classic Ben & Jerry's, and anyone who says different is just...well...wrong. The first time I ever had cookie dough ice-cream, it was a tub of Ben & Jerry's, and nothing else I've tried since can really compare!
Review for HARIBO Starmix - 6 months, 3 weeks ago
My favourite mix of sweets. They are so moreish you can't just have one or two...before you know it, the whole bag is gone. The little hearts are the ones I like best. They're often on offer at supermarkets too, though I try to look out for the multipack ones as it prevents me from eating it all at one go!
