Hey y'all, my name is Chaney and I am a student at the University of Michigan! On any given day you can catch me studying at my favorite local coffee shop, grabbing cocktails with friends, or walking my sassy little dog, Charlie, around town. I am obsessed with all things fashion, beauty, and most recently, skincare. I love experimenting with different brands and products to improve my life, and giving my honest feedback on the experience to help others!
I always use powder highlighters on my cheekbones and whatnot because they seem to have a more flawless blend, but for my eyes I like to use a crane formula so that it stays in place. I absolutely love this highlighter for my eyes!
Review for: Chantilly (true ivory for light complexion)
As much as I love the radiant concealer, it is not my favorite product for covering blemishes because it is shiny and draws attention to them. That is where this concealer comes in, it's matte finish and full coverage are perfect for covering blemishes!
I absolutely love this primer, it is by far one of the best I've used! It smoothes out imperfections and leaves skin soft and ready for foundation. You don't even need to use foundation with this primer because it smoothes out your complexion so well!
I love all of the shades of these lip glosses, but my favorite is probably Peach, Please! They last a lot longer than I would have imagined; I did not have to reapply it often. The finish is also nice. It is the perfect amount of shiny but it is not sticky. Another plus is the scent, it smells great!
Live, love, love this palette! It is definitely going to be my go to for summer eye looks! Peach is a very universal shade, and it gives you the perfect summer glow. I also like how the pigments compliment each other well, yet are very different!
This is by far my favorite setting powder, and I have dry skin! It sets your makeup all day, without making it look too matte. When I first started using it, I hated how it would highlight dry flakes of skin. I changed my skincare routine however, and I no longer have problems with dry skin, which makes this powder work perfectly!!
I always keep a few of these on hand so that I have them whenever I need them! They are perfect for long weekends such as concert festivals and such when you have to look your best everyday, but you stayed up super late the night before. After I take a shower in the morning, I throw them on while blowdrying my hair and, voila! The pack hydration in, as well as brighten the under-eye area and you look just as good as you did on day one!
I have tried a lot of leave in conditioner type products in my search for the perfect one, and so far this is it! First of all, it smells amazing and is super easy to apply after a shower. I like that it is a spray rather than a cream because it makes it easier to apply when I am being lazy. I spray 8-10 sprays each time and it has lasted FOREVER, you really get your money's worth. The results have been great, my hairdresser always compliments how smooth and healthy my hair is now. Before, I did not get comments like that from her. I liked it so much that I started using the shampoo and conditioner as well and it has worked wonders from my hair. I cannot get over how soft, shiny, smooth and great smelling my hair is!
I received this for free from Influenster for reviewing purposes, and I liked it, but it was not my favorite. This biggest downside to me is that it has an extremely strong scent, and the scent smells very artificial. Overall, it is a good cleanser, but it seemed to be made of cheap ingredients, which scares me in a skincare product. I definitely will not repurchase, but it is not bad.
I received this foot soak for free from Influenster for reviewing purposes, and I liked it. Overall, I will say I was more impressed by it than I thought I would be. It left my feet feeling soft and refreshed, and it had a fresh scent. I am not a fan of the packaging because it is super crowded and hard to read, which makes the product appear cheap. Though the scent was fresh, it was a bit odd and overpowering, but not bad.
