Review for ALOHA Organic Protein Bar Peanut Butter & Jelly - 4 months, 2 weeks ago
Foodie Expert Level 1
Do I love that these bars are made with all-natural ingredients and are high in fiber and protein? Absolutely. Did I like the taste? Definitely not. It's hard to say if it was because of the peanut butter and jelly flavor, or if all the Aloha bars would be equally undesirable (the texture was a little gritty, and the taste was just plain weird). Next time I need to purchase protein bars, I'll try a different brand.
Review for Babies"R"Us Diapers - 1 year ago
I cloth diaper my baby during the day, but at night we use disposables to ensure against leaking. We typically use Target's Up&Up brand diapers and think they're great — especially for the price (around $0.15 a diaper).

These Babies R Us diapers are definitely a match in quality. No leaking, no tabs tearing off so far. And in one way they beat the Target diapers — the tabs are extra long and the waistband extra stretchy, making it very easy to get just the right fit on my big baby. So I'm very happy with these diapers.

My one complaint is the price — at $0.25 a diaper, these may be on par with or cheaper than name brand diapers (Pampers, Huggies, etc.), but they're no match for Target's house brand. For that reason, I'll stick with Target.
Review for AMO Blink Contacts Lubricating Eye Drops - 1 year ago
Wellness Guru Expert Level 2
I have issues with dry eyes, and these drops have been recommended to me by a number of opthalmologists. I've found them at CVS, Target, etc. They're easy to use, and they work immediately to soothe dry eyes. The bottle is small but usually lasts awhile.

My only complaint is that it's not preservative-free. Wish it was!
Review for Playtex Wet Ones Antibacterial Towelette Singles, Citrus Scent, 24 Ea, (Pack of 6) - 1 year, 10 months ago
Wellness Guru Expert Level 2
We hosted a clam bake and barbeque for 100 people and wanted to provide more than paper towels or napkins for messy, sticky hands. These were perfect! They were easy to distribute, thanks to "single serve" packaging. They cleaned hand perfectly. And the scent was light and fresh. Perfect!
Review for 3 Sprouts Storage Bin Fox - 1 year, 10 months ago
I LOVE all my 3 Sprouts storage items. We find them to be really useful for keeping toys organized -- Duplos go in the fox bin, and train tracks go in the snake bin, for example.

Each of the animal options is very cute, and I love that the bins are attractive enough to keep out in our main gathering area (we live in a small city apartment, so no dedicated play room or play space).

The quality of these boxes is great -- my son lugs them around and dumps them upside down, and they're showing no signs of wear.
Review for Boogie Mist Fresh Scent Saline Spray - 2 Ounce - 1 year, 10 months ago
You would think it'd be easy to buy a saline spray that's made up of only salt and water, right? Well, it's not. Lots of other brands seem to add in unnecessary preservatives and other ingredients. But this one is great!

It's easy to use, and I feel perfectly safe using it on a tiny baby. When Ii pair it with the NoseFrida, my baby's runny nose is nothing to worry about!
Review for Snuza Hero - 1 year, 10 months ago
We love our Snuza! I'm so anxious when my babies are asleep, thanks to so many SIDs horror stories. This monitor brings so much peace of mind.

We've also used the AngelCare movement monitor and really prefer the Snuza -- it's easier to travel with, and we've had no false alarms.
You really can't go wrong with Gerber onesies! They're great for layering or wearing as is.

The onesies are soft and they wash very well. I love that they're tagless.

They are a tad on the small side, though. Most newborns are out of the newborn size within weeks, so buy a size bigger than you think you'll need!
Review for Angel Care Movement Monitor - 1 year, 11 months ago
We bought this when my baby was 6 months old and we were panicked about moving him into his own room/crib. It, in addition to a video monitor, brought us a lot of peace of mind! We did experience a number of false alarms, though, which would send us shooting out of bed in the middle of the night. I also didn't love the way the monitor was attached to a cord. If parents' room is not right near the baby's, it might be difficult to hear the alarm going off. As my son became more mobile in the crib, we stopped using the monitor because of false alarms. But for the baby stage, it works pretty well!
Review for Nosefrida The Snotsucker Nasal Aspirator - 1 year, 11 months ago
This thing is just incredible. With my first son, we used the traditional blue bulb aspirator they give to you at the hospital. He hated it. We hated it. We bought the NoseFrida when my second baby was born and excitedly tried it out when he was a few weeks old and struggling to breathe through his nose. It worked perfectly and painlessly. We all love it!
